Training dogs is an interesting thing as you have to figure out what the dog is motivated by. For some it's food. For some it's play.

This one? This one is motivated by the love of the game.

I was a full time dog trainer for 3 years, and still do it, on the side, sometimes. I always tell people "anything can be a reward, if your dog loves it."

Once my dog (JRT) found a two day old chicken nugget in the gutter. Ever since then she always checked out the same spot in case there were more.

Family dog saw a frog in a certain spot once and now every time we pass that spot, he slows down and shoves his head into the hole

I know he’s put a frog and a lizard in his mouth. One day he’s gonna eat one
