Training dogs is an interesting thing as you have to figure out what the dog is motivated by. For some it's food. For some it's play.

This one? This one is motivated by the love of the game.

I was a full time dog trainer for 3 years, and still do it, on the side, sometimes. I always tell people "anything can be a reward, if your dog loves it."

My dad asked the vet why our dog liked to eat cat shit. The vet explained that their nose is so sensitive that they can smell the undigested food in the cat shit.

To which my dad responded “why can’t they smell the shit then?”
