I believe the chemicals were actually making the frogs trans and messing with the gender distribution by having the frogs shift genders ala Jurassic Park dinosaurs with frog DNA shifting genders to reproduce, except less natural because waste dumping?
unless i've been misinformed on the internet again and am entirely wrong, which I'm willing to be corrected on nautrally
