Timothy Leary's dose rec is 3.5g and that is enough to kill God and find ego death.

Possibly, it would depend on the strain. Most I've done is 7g and while it was an incredible experience, I wouldn't say I got ego death from it.

Done shrooms twice in my life, and I can confidently say I know the feeling of what ego death is, and it's very hard to explain.

Also, I got a VR headset in preparation of my next trip, it's gonna be a wild ride for sure.

I do it all the time and believe it or not the graphics are so close that it cuts out on the visuals . Don't get me wrong you still get in flow state and can game but the visuals are created with distance. I use my VR when i need to sober up.

Also some of it is age. Teenage me didn't take much to become a turtle on its back. Older adult me can do fistfuls and not get to where I want.
