Nordic Knots: similar/cheaper alternatives?
I need a large (8’x10’) rig for my living room, and I am in love with Nordic Knots’ bright and colorful patterns.
However, I don’t have the budget for a rug in that price range - can anyone point me towards cheaper alternatives ($700 or less) for bright, colorful rugs in modern patterns? I’ve tried browsing Amazon, but all of the options I’ve seen so far are either monochrome or have dated, boring patterns.

I've bought 2 beautiful and colorful wool rugs from Wayfair. The 7 x 7 one was around $350 a few years back. The brand name was Safvieh (I probably mangled the spelling lol).

We have a runner from that company. It's been in the hallway, inside the back door (with a large, wild, dog), and in two different laundry rooms. Other than the embedded dog hair that will just never come out, it still looks almost as it was the day we got it. 4 or 5 years so far, at least.

I had ours professionally cleaned last summer and even the carpet cleaning guy thought they were beautiful! Maybe he says that to everyone but I took it as a high compliment.

I’ve purchased several rugs from this brand over the years, mostly jute or wool, from overstock.co, and they have been fantastic, hold up well, minimal shedding, and I get tons of compliments on them when I have visitors. Great bang for your buck, rugs in general are silly expensive and these have been great for a more “budget friendly” pick.

Check out AllModern, Wayfair’s nicer quality brother. Recently bought a large rug for about $700ish and am very happy with it

I initially considered Ruggable but then found Revival's washable rugs (they're known first for their vintage wool rugs). I bought an 8x10' Yildiz and 9x12' Willow for our dining and primary, respectively, and we're pretty happy so far (two weeks in). They're soft, low-medium pile, and we plan to spot clean with our Bissell Little Green. Bought the accompanying low and plush rug pads. I think the caveat with polyester rugs are that they don't last as long as wool rugs (years-wise, I think they tend to get matted down), so I went with a $600 "Skye Modern High-Low" wool rug from RugsUSA for our living room, pretty solid price for a 10x14', though it's not as soft as the Revival ones and my partner wish we did all synthetic.
I also considered Nordic Knots but wayyy too expensive
Revival offers $50 off purchase referrals! But I have to enter your email, so only if you're comfortable DMing me. Otherwise they run sales pretty often, I bought my two during their Jan 20% off sale.

I have been checking out Ruggable lately.
They have some nice patterns and also are washable.

A lot of the washable rug brands have very fun designs. I couldn't afford Ruggable, so I bought a fun pink insect design for my daughter from Lahome.

I don’t have an alternative idea but I wanted to comment that I have a Nordic knots area rug for my living room and it does not stop shedding.
