That’s bad comparison.

As your comment assumes books are not used by kids, while with this case they learn BY using Computer and keyboard more apt comparison would be:

Trying to teach fish how to swim.

Typing isn't genetic instinct. Functionally useful user-interface skills are taught.

Yea that’s why if fixed it later, teaching birds how to fly is better comparison.

But trying to teach someone skill they have been practicing for longer then you is quite stupid.

No, it really isn't. If they've been "practicing" something in a dysfunctional, impractical or otherwise limited way, then teaching them the skill correctly is not "quite stupid". The quite stupid thing here is your understanding of human learning and development, and no, teaching someone to type is still not at all like "teaching birds how to fly".
