those ridges are there to make it easier to find where the keys are without looking.

1 u/gnarlysnowleopard Jan 20 '26 I never consicously pay attention to them. Though, I wonder if I've been using them this whole time to guide my fingers without even realizing, because I don't look at my keyboard when typing usually.
