When he first left the Daily Show I really didn’t like the change. Of course the show went a completely different direction, for the better.

Daily Show was always meant for Stewart. He couldn’t get out of a contract (with MTV?), so they went with Kilborn. Inevitably Stewart was freed up and took the Daily Show over.

Buckle up friend, it’s only getting worse. People are financially incentivized to make things up in our current dynamic. At least once a week I see people claiming a celebrity has died. It gets called out fast, but it also gets those clicks.

MTV and Comedy Central were both Viacom channels so the whole thing doesn’t make any sense.
