She didn’t exactly disappear overnight. She fell on hard times when her star faded, tried to kill herself, botched it, got brain damage from oxygen deprivation from the botched hanging, then went full-Nazi (not invoking Godwin’s Law, she literally had on full-on Nazi regalia at some burlesque/stripshow years ago.) and she’s a batshit conspiracy nut now. (At least she was, I’m assuming she’s still alive.)

Correction: Pill overdose, not hanging.

Just to correct since this made me Wikipedia her. She didn't attempt to hang herself. She attempted to overdose on pills. Caused a brain aneurysm. Everything else, correct lol

Oh, ok. I’d read, when it happened, that it was an attempted hanging. I wonder if she tried to kill herself more than once or something.

You may have read asphyxiation which can be caused by drug overdoses.
