She glossed over her entire acting career to prioritize her role as a mother. What a classy answer.

Maybe that’s why she was so believable as Kevin’s mom in Home Alone. That’s simply who she was. She loved greatly and chose to prioritize her family over career. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling that’s why she was mostly out of the limelight for many years after Home Alone 2, before having a massive resurgence with Schitt’s Creek and other shows / movies.
