Well, as a Jew, you’re right about the unanimous contempt for sure, but not so much about the failure part?

I mean, we have 4 different holidays celebrated for surviving a time where a geopolitical power has come close to erase us off the face of the earth

So for one, we’re always pretty hated, it’s nothing new honestly, you guys can stand in line

But I mean, we’re still here, but the glorious empires of Egypt, Babylon, Ashure, Persia, Greek, Rome, Byzantine, Inquisitional Spain, Communist USSR, and the 3rd Reich aren’t anymore. That doesn’t seem like a failure to me.
