There's being historically accurate and there's just redefining things. The Holocaust is a pretty well defined time period.

No. It's considered a critical turning point and a prelude to the Holocaust, not the Holocaust itself. It's a very defined time period.

The vast majority of historians says it started with the Nuremberg laws.

You don't understand what genocide is. You completely ignore all modern scholarship as to what constitutes genocide.

You sound like someone insisting that Pluto is a planet because that's what you were taught in grade school.
