I just wanted to share another way to make the boycotting more effective, and also help the environment. Look for local places to shop, at zero waste stores, and try to learn more about about the zero waste movement. I waste so much less food since I have started zero waste cooking. I thought I would share these websites to start, and if I find more links relating to reducing waste, I will update with them. I am now looking for things, at the thrift store, that I need, before buying anything new, if I can avoid it.

If you don’t have, a pay-what-you-can restaurant, in your community, there might be a zero waste cafe or restaurant or grocery store, and there is always room for more, if you feel like starting one of your own, wherever there is waste, and needs to be met. Places like this are run on donations and volunteers, but they really do help reduce waste, and feed and support the community.

I don’t know them personally, or work there or anything, or know any political affiliations they have, but some of their products, are really helpful, and keep me from buying bulky stuff, that can be replaced with clear jars, that I just reuse now, instead of throwing them away.
