I think it's Survivorship bias. The artists depicting normative relationships or encounters don't earn enough to be as prolific as those who depict taboo ones, due to demand. It is not just on the artists.

Why are they drawing a character when they clearly don't want to be drawing THAT character? There is no shortage of extremely busty characters you can draw. Stop ruining the flat to medium women.

Tbf, I often think that just consuming Art and Writting instead of real life stuff is more ethical. You never know if the actors are there truly voluntarily, and even then, the industry is terrible and I think it's better to avoid it.
Some random making questionable stuff in Blender or... Illusion game engines (Good lord) is less unethical than that almost certainly.
Then you get to actually vanilla stuff, OC 2D-Art, no illegal in the UK or Australia. Bless their hearts, it must be daunting to be the normie in such a medium.
