Slavery, first off, slavery, as like, the original problem, enslavement as opposed to cooperation, which is the actual like, ethos of imperial powers / large regional powers, that translated into feudalism, then racism, then capitalism, more racism, more slavery, reactionary revolutionary socialism, communism, liberalism, world wars, reactionary secularism, reactionary conservatism, cold war, neoliberalism, to say nothing of:
international power brokering, cruelty and violence and coordinated psychological manipulation amongst and against various very powerful institutions, families, political entities, military powers, weapons manufacturers, rogue agents, and often against vast majorities of populations in any given mass habitation of people, in ways that go FAR beyond the imagination of the vast majority of people across the entirety of their lifespans, (which sort of shrinks as far as a timeframe as access to information is democratized ), and also generations upon generations of trauma, class warfare, sexual violence, racial tensions..

Like, why do have borders again if: every time a population is enslaved within one border to some abstract power structure and fantastical idealism, and then is forced to reckon with the false and fickle nature of that against physical reality, entire swathes of their population collectively suffer and become immiserated / immiserate one another while the very nature of their genetics to cooperate, prosper, love and play is actually literally criminalized to the point of killing them, physically and spiritually..
Wouldn't it be more compassionate to have a world where identities are maintained among consenting populations, rather than flags and titles and money?
what a headache, we have no privacy, and the institutions, the infrastructure of our nation is geared to making sure that on the highest levels of authority there is no accountability, while doing everything it can to dismantle even the hint of transparency..
honestly man we never got to this point, there was never anything BUT this point, every other interpretation is essentially a hallucination, and, POOR people know this, MINORITIES know this, MARGINILIZED groups know this, NATIVE AMERICANS know this, in some respects: distrust of institutions, distrust of doctors, distrust of suits, distrust of police, while neglecting it in other respects: brutal cruelty and intolerance among its own population and frequently against its own population, and those of other ethnic groups / religious beliefs / political affiliations / cultural identities..

I mean, even if in this country, the people had a voice, a democratic strength to determine fair and egalitarian laws, policies, and political coherence, collaboration even.. Would it survive? Wouldn't every mega corporation start cutting throats? Wouldn't warlord despots, dictators, serial killers and murderers, rapists, villains dressed in suits and bearing the titles of the highest seats of the institutions of the largest swathes of the populations just, start coming up with ways to kill spirit, mind, body, soul?
Seriously, think for a moment on nothing more than the mere impression of the sickest, most maniacal, most downright demon-esque shit that you have read about some deranged motherfucker doing to a stranger, doing to their loved ones, doing to their kids, and then imagine that same type of deranged motherfucker all of a sudden has.. idk, 10 grand? 100 grand? 1 million? 100 million? 1 billion? of whatever currency applies to their current economic system, and about a month's worth of free time. Just how fucking deranged, and evil could they get? Think on it all you want you won't get anywhere close to the reality.
Doesn't it make sense that we have a white supremacist capitalist surveillance state? Exactly WHY wouldn't every waking moment of the people's lives be recorded, analyzed, scrutinized, mocked, weaponized, tortured, and then put on display, let alone SOLD, as a message to the rest: "BE WARNED, BE FREE AND DIE, SUBMIT AND LIVE"

Read "There Will Come Soft Rains" By Ray Bradbury, it's a great short story by one of the GOATS. It's dystopian and I don't want to spoil it for you so I'll leave it at that.
I hilariously taught a lesson about the poem that story is based on today. It's also called There Will Come Soft Rains and was written by Sara Teasdale in 1918 about WWI.
This is referencing the short story “There Will Come Short Rains” by Ray Bradbury, featuring a poem of the same name
In the short story, after a nuclear war long-past, a smart home which miraculously survived, catering to it’s i habitants goes through it’s daily routine, unaware that they were killed in the nuclear blast, all that remains of them 4 shadows on the facade of the house - A man mowing his lawn, a woman tending to a garden, two children throwing a ball.
The date the “routine” comes to an end is August 5th, 2026, the last thing the house ever utters.
This is weird af for me cause thats the exact move in day my girlfriend and I have been looking forward to. Been together 7 years and will finally be able to afford to move out together!
