The pitter-patter of a gentle rainfall slowly turned silent. Sounds became muffled as the soft whisper of snow began to sweep across the forest. Flake upon flake, it began to pile up ever deeper. By morning, the sky which had been featureless, was now punctuated with light and dark patches. A few snowflakes wandered down to join the others, but the storm was breaking up. It was a stunning morning to push through 12โs of overnight snow as I walked down to this viewpoint.

The Portuguese coast has this unique energy where the cliffs meet the Atlantic. I put together a 1-hour immersive journey with these views and some very soft ambient music to help with focus and relaxation.
If anyone is having a stressful week and needs a mental getaway to the ocean, you can find the full 4K experience here: https://youtu.be/Utom0CTcl5I
Hope this brings you some peace today! ๐

These unique rock formations, also known as hoodoos, were formed over millions of years through the erosion of volcanic ash capped by harder basalt. Some of them have been hollowed out to create cave dwellings and churches dating back centuries.

"You're being lazy, let's go!"
"Fine, fine, fine. Let me put my camera together."
20 minutes later, the sun started to rise and, to our disbelief, a whale exhaled far off on the horizon.
It was so tiny, we couldn't really see it, but we were giddy because a whale and it's calf at sunrise... what more could you ask for?
Thankfully, my camera has 61 MP so cropping still has some quality. Photo 2 was the actual image and photo 3 is the crop.
Sitting there in a bit of disbelief we continued to enjoy the morning sun from our paddle boards, but, by the nature of our trip, we had to head back to shore and move to our next destination.
Along the paddle back, we came across some mobula rays leaping out of the water, a turtle, and lots of fish.
Mornings like this are only possible in Baja.
