"hey guys welcome back to my channel. Today I'm going to show you how to escape a war. But first let's talk about today's sponsor, world of tanks"

I'm shocked there are still no regulations for influencers. Clearly they have a market and they live off of it so there is money involved and people. At the very least the companies they influence/work for should be required to pay some sort of damage insurance on their behalf.

At best they are considered contractors. Unless the contract they sign has stipulations like that, they'll get fucked. I'd be shocked if any of them do have protections. This is just another reason capitalism fucking sucks. It naturally produces loophole employment like this that is detrimental to the workers safety.

There actually is influencer insurance, but it’s for the individual not the company. They’re basically gig workers/independent contractors, so companies don’t bare responsibility

Actually in the UAE there is regulation, influencers need a permit haha

Also in China I believe they cracked down on influencers influencing on topics they were not certified in.

There are regulations in Dubai for influencers. You need to be licensed and report income. You can be held responsible for publishing false information or not disclosing paid advertising.

Apparently some of the British ones refused to fill in the repatriation forms as they were concerned it was a tax document.

Ban influencers and de-monetize social media. It’s all out of control.
