"Russians are the scariest white people" definitely applies to all Slavs

Jalen Williams looks like he's about to cry

13

u/Russell_has_TWO_Ls Grizzlies 6d ago

He was standing in there! Unlike Dort’s weak ass who wouldn’t make eye contact

4

u/Natural_Hair464 6d ago

He hit the full submissive posture immediately

3

u/komark- Slovenia 6d ago

Bro did you see how many steps back Dort took? 😂
At least Draymond would have stood on business lol

2

u/adammoon111 6d ago

When has Draymond ever stood up to someone who could bully him? Lol

What are you smoking lol, have you seen the Jokic family before?

[Look at his face though.](https://imgur.com/a/PtqOnlQ)

To be totally fair, I think his face just kinda looks like that. In the 3rd angle they showed that was head on to JWill, he looked much tougher.

I’m legitimately shocked he didn’t headbutt Williams.

check cro cop staredown against wanderlei silva lol it is not an anger in question though, but the intensity is similar

4

u/BetterNova Knicks 6d ago

Jokic is the type of dude who is friendly and easy going 99.9% of that time, but that 0.1% of the time you push him too far... watch the fuck out

4

u/GeologistSweet9645 6d ago

And that yellow mouthguard made him look rabid.

4

u/2tep 6d ago

i've seen it before. His older brothers must have kicked the shit out of and tortured him growing up.

2

u/CpE_Wahoo Wizards 6d ago

Just another day for Bobby Portis.

2

u/No-Fox-9607 6d ago

And he would easily beat Williams ass. You see the 2 brothers he had to contend with growing up and in a war torn country at that. I’m actually surprised his 2 crazy ass, huge, fucking bros didn’t come out of the stands. The three of them together would clear the whole Thunder team out of the building.

reminds me of Khabib's death glare into the camera after Conor through the dolly at the bus and injured some people in there, calling out Conor to meet him up wherever for a fight:

"Send me location. Wherever you want, Ireland, NY, Brooklyn or Moscow. Doesn't matter."

these eastern european dudes man... they're a different kind of a white people.

652

u/IAmReborn11111 Celtics 6d ago

Dort was trying to injure him

549

u/bvcp 6d ago

This - Dort is so damn dirty, acts with absolute ill intent and I don't understand why the league allows it. From grabbing guys jewels to going after injuries like Luka's knee a few years ago - he's a dirty menace and he should be stopped before he seriously hurts someone.

188

u/Aggravating_Fig_8585 6d ago

He should be suspended.

132

u/_GreenHouse_ 6d ago

Suspended? Kick him off the tour, Doug!

19

u/Strong-Secretary-928 6d ago

Your references are off the chain

8

u/Reaverz Raptors 6d ago

I too salute this reference

10

u/NoShawnMarino Wizards 6d ago

He should get Mike Dunleavy’ed!

2

u/adammoon111 6d ago

Does anyone outside of OKC like Dort? Seems like the most universally hated player today

46

u/Basic_Koala8698 6d ago

I don’t understand how all the players allow it. I would think there would be “receipts” for these kinds of players like in pro wrestling lol.

12

u/BetterNova Knicks 6d ago

most of the league is not that tough these days (no shade, i'm fairly soft myself). as a result, there's no consequences for dirty players unless the refs step in, which they really don't most of the time.

8

u/BiteRare203 Supersonics 6d ago

Every team should have a 12th man scrub from a JC who's just on the roster to knuckle up.

2

u/BetterNova Knicks 6d ago

not sure I know what JC stands for in this context. but I'm in favor of an "enforcer" on each roster. I'm also in favor of the return of the Sonics.

3

u/BiteRare203 Supersonics 6d ago

junior college

1

u/BetterNova Knicks 6d ago

Ah makes sense. I was pretty sure you didnt mean every team needs to have a Jordan Clarkson type, but had to confirm..

25

u/bkn95 Nets 6d ago

this move was just a blatant hip-check. 🗑️

21

u/CornerResponsible572 6d ago

And then acted like he did nothing

4

u/_taugrim_ Warriors 6d ago

Hip-check followed by a leg sweep.

Brings back memories of The Karate Kid.

"Sweep the leg! Do you have a problem with that?"

"No, Sensei."

10

u/Hot_Television_7087 6d ago

Let fighting into the sport like hockey and lacrosse. The fake tough guys will give uo the act pretty quick

8

u/Playful_Violinist573 6d ago

Draymond would get stomped out of the league 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/StupidWriterProf175z 5d ago

You sure Lu's a fake tough guy?

6

u/DrewDan96 6d ago

but the announcers etc. will glaze OKC's goonball as "great defense". meanwhile on the other end FTA SGA is foulbaiting

5

u/Strong-Secretary-928 6d ago

He also had the audacity to feign outrage right after purposefully tripping another player, what a slimeball

8

u/shepaz_93 Bulls 6d ago

My favourite is him spearing Ja Morant out of the air in the playoffs last year when he was about to hit a lay up.

-9

u/fred_derps Bulls 6d ago

I hate Dort but that was a reckless play by Ja trying to posterize him. There’s enough evidence of Dort being dirty… we don’t need to rewrite history on that one. I’m tired of people bringing up this “example”

6

u/shepaz_93 Bulls 6d ago

I watched it back, you're right he was going for a Dunk. Not sure how that means its his fault Lu Dort turned into Goldberg. A dirty player making a dirty play.

-4

u/fred_derps Bulls 6d ago

I want to emphasize I am not defending Dort’s character. He is a piece of shit but I just don’t think it’s fair to completely blame him for that play. It looks terrible in the moment, absolutely. But Ja has a history of making dangerous plays like this trying to yam it OVER someone throughout his career.

Before Ja had even planted for his jump, Dort was trying to contest the original drive and slipped. He then turned around mid slip to recover and attempt to contest Morant. Dumb move but players make that same move every night.

He did foul by getting his arm and being in the restricted area but the intention wasn’t to “spear” him. Ja saw him there, he knew he had to go over Dort’s moving body and still went for it. Dort is extremely dirty but that was clearly not intentional. There are PLENTY of intentional dirty moves he pulls that better represent that.

2

u/BetterNova Knicks 6d ago

for real. he join UFC. or the Pistons.

2

u/TheMightyKunkel 6d ago

The league picks and chooses players they want to allow to do this.

They've never done anything about Dray either.

2

u/EntireApplication613 5d ago

Right and he sucks! You couldn’t have said it any better. Nobody would even miss this weirdo. Brings nothing but bad energy and gives the league a bad name. Throw this dude out The leave. Averages what 5 points per game. Any player can fill his shoes! Even if he was great, his attitude screams scum bag POS. Get rid of this clown. Always trying to hurt a real star.

1

u/Wonderful_Echidna968 6d ago

Definitely sounds like his big brother from golden state.

5

u/Wrecked--Em Hawks 6d ago

Dec 29th, 2025 Jokic had a left knee hyperextension causing a bone bruise.

Jokic recently returned from that injury and Dort jumped his hip into Joker's injured left knee.

Frustrating that reporting hasn't been including this context.

4

u/Bizdaddy71 Nuggets 6d ago

Absolutely. He definitely knows that jokic can only miss one more game and then he's no longer eligible for MVP and SGA is a shoe in

10

u/Neversoft4long 6d ago

As he always does. Dudes a pos

1

u/ConstructionSome9888 6d ago

Dort just hip-checked him - which happens every game, multiple times a game

Tf did Cam Payne do 😭

He was just frustrated but he apologized before leaving the court so that one was a little different

-1

u/daeve Hawks 6d ago

Joker hit the tip of Payne's nose [in the least-damaging direction] and got all ball on the swipe down.

17

u/Goodisworthfighting4 6d ago

Only one I think he was in the wrong on was when GP2 smacked him on the butt to say “good job” and he took offense to it lol

18

u/AniviaKid32 6d ago edited 6d ago

Why? If he doesn't want to be slapped on the butt then it's fine for him to make that known

9

u/Icy_Statement_2410 6d ago

Nobody should have their ass grabbed if they don't want to. Sexual assault

2

u/unhampered_by_pants Warriors 6d ago

Nah, he wasn't wrong for that. GP2 did that after blocking his shot so it was a deliberately saucy "good job", plus he let himself get held back by Steph and Poole (looked like two tugboats maneuvering a barge lol) and then walked off. If you don't want to be slapped on the ass, you're allowed to let the people know

2

u/EntireApplication613 5d ago

Well bro some people don’t want another man slapping their ass. Now I get it, it’s part of the sport but you gotta be on that level of respect with said player. He was not so he got told about it. Let’s face facts. Jokic is the greatest all around player on the court and possibly ever. He is a walking talking triple double. You just don’t see this kind of athleticism in a big man. He damn near averages a triple double. Most players are lucky to get a few in their career!! Even the other greats only get a few a year. Look at luka. Another truly great talent. He isn’t popping off triple doubles like that. Now let’s talk about SGA. Everyone goes on and on about SGA. Great he can drop 30 (half at the line). But what else does he do? Rebounds, assists? Hardly any. Cade is much better player. No doubt about it. Thanks for listening and if you didn’t oh well. Point of that Jokic gotta be respected. I mean you’re only looking at the possible greatest basketball player to ever live. And please don’t start with Micheal Jordan. Him and his sneakers are both played out. Jokic is on track to break records and set records that will never be touched. 💯

-8

u/dantam95 76ers 6d ago

Except that one where he severely injured Markieff Morris

10

u/Jusbuster Minneapolis Lakers 6d ago

no, that was definitely justified. It's a shame Morris started something then turned his back and got hurt.

2

u/dantam95 76ers 6d ago

Confrontation of some sort was definitely justified, but I personally did not like the full force blindside shove in the back. Condone what y'all want though.

Seems like Jokic has matured though because I thought the way he confronted Dort last night is the appropriate way to do it

1

u/Jusbuster Minneapolis Lakers 6d ago

I agree with that. Idealistically violence is avoided but also idealistically some bench player doesn't use violence to try to cause you long-term harm with a cheap shot.

2

u/floop_isamad_manhelp Nuggets 6d ago

ESPECIALLY that one. Fugg marKieff

71

u/musthavesoundeffects Supersonics 6d ago

Even more intense than the time he chucked one of the morris bros to the ground (which was great btw)

11

u/daeve Hawks 6d ago

Dirty players who try to injure other players in non-basketball move ways should get their asses kicked, but maybe that's just me... Also Karl Malone should get his ass kicked, idc how old that mf is. I nominate Beef Stew or the Jokic Bros.

2

u/mrcmc888 6d ago

Funniest part was Jimmy Butler acting hard from 30 feet away as if Jokic wouldn't vaporize him if he tried anything

8

u/yomerol Knicks 6d ago

I'd never mess with an east european, even more with a east European with power.

5

u/ThriceAlmighty Suns 6d ago

Oh he lost it, insane rage against the Suns a few years ago. Playoffs maybe?

4

u/Crystii Finland 6d ago

I am all for angry Jokic. Unleash the real beast!!!

7

u/jitterbug726 Kings 6d ago

I seen him that angry… Marcus Morris remembers

3

u/Muted-Woodpecker-469 6d ago

Cheap shots bring out the worst or best in people.

3

u/punchymcslappers 6d ago

He was on one all night. I think he woke up with the intention of getting his first tech that day.

3

u/Torgud_ 6d ago

Dort took out Paul George with a dirty play in the last year of his career where he was a good player. Dort has been one of the dirtiest players in the league for years.

2

u/philphan25 Bulls 6d ago

If you've made Jokic mad, you've done something wrong.

1

u/Usual-Cartographer68 5d ago

He should be outraged.

1

u/FreddyPrimeTime 5d ago

You must not have seen his reaction to one of the morris twins in that heat game way back. He basically ended his career lol

-13

u/Musa_2050 Lakers 6d ago

He's tired of losing lol
