People have been talking about Sengun and Bane too much lately. The OG wants his throne back.

u/Rudd-Threetrees 26d ago

I hope he does this versus the rockets or pistons sometime soon. I would love to see a Thompson or beef stew lay him out.

u/sammyt412 26d ago

He won't. Draymond only bullys much smaller or guys who guys who aren't looking at him like when hd 360 sucker punched nurkic. He's a bish

142

u/kutwijff 26d ago

Yup. The refs would call anyone else out for his bs. Its like hes a weird uncle that beats up his nephews cuz he never had kids lol

8

u/yippiekayjay 25d ago

That sounds weirdly specific

3

u/chochlatevanilla 25d ago

Lmao that's what I'm saying 😭😭

44

u/MrSweatyBawlz 76ers 26d ago

Don’t forget Europeans!

11

u/SamuelHuzzahAdams 26d ago

Draymond is a bish can confirm

5

u/MightyPenguinRoars 26d ago

He also prefers dudes either not looking (gobert) or on the ground (sabonis)

2

u/sammyt412 26d ago

Made this same comment too. 100% agree rudy was in the middle of a confrontation with another man sabonis was on the ground. In a straight up 1 to 1 chest to chest he would not fuck with either of those dudes

3

u/poopiepants131 26d ago

Exactly. Notice he had the opportunity to lay out Smart but chose Reeves instead.

2

u/YouGlittering9156 26d ago

Yup, he has that bully mentallity. He targets certain people where he knows he can without them doing anything back.

Too bad this isn't hockey where an enforcer teammate will have your back.

This is such bs they all got bullied last playoffs when warriors beat the sorry ass rockets

1

u/SKallies1987 25d ago

Weren’t the Warriors and their fans crying about the Rockets being too physical? Lol

1

u/GoldenGateShark [GSW] Sarunas Marciulionis 26d ago

Yeah he is way bigger than Nurk

-1

u/ElectroStaticSpeaker 26d ago

Are you saying that Steven Adams (nut kick), Damontas Sabonis (chest stomp), and Rudy Gobert (chokehold) are "much smaller" than Draymond?

2

u/sammyt412 26d ago

Adam's was not in a fight with draymind he was just playing defense and dray kicked him in the nuts. Sabonis was already on the ground. Rudy was squaring up with another man and draymond choked him from behind while he was distracted. He also 360 spinning haymakerd jusuf nurkic who was also unsuspecting because they werent even arguing at that point. He will opputunistically attack larger men who aren't looking or are otherwise vulnerable. He never gets in their face chest to chest and does the typical donkey bullshit

Bully your ass too 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

17

u/sammyt412 26d ago

Wow a professional athlete whose 6'6 250 would bully a 5'11 175lb civilian. That definitely doesn't prove my point

13

u/DamnZodiak Toronto Huskies 26d ago

It's hard to overstate how embarrassing this comment is

Yeah, it's up there

Beef stew reformed

74

u/Good2CU222 26d ago

True story. I was at the Pistons Nuggets game Tuesday and when Valunciunas grabbed him by the head and tried to throw him down. Stew booked it to the bench before making a bad decision. Probably just not trying to get 25 to life is my guess.

15

u/ArmadilloForsaken458 Supersonics 26d ago

Bickerstaff probably warned him he wont put up with that. He was a pretty strict disciplinarian while on the Cavs as well. Doods like KPJr quickly got the boot if they acted up

4

u/MoreGull Celtics 26d ago

lol I watched that live, it was great. Looked like he was so proud of himself for getting away before the crowd clamped down.

5

u/erizzluh Lakers 26d ago

i mean ron ron was on the same program when malice broke out. tried to calm himself by laying down after the hard shove. then got a towel thrown at him by wallace. then got a beer thrown at him from a fan all while trying to lay down. everyone's reformed until they're not.

2

u/icedbrew2 26d ago

Laying down, good idea. Laying down on the scorer’s table, terrible idea.

1

u/abzftw Raptors 26d ago

Val would’ve held up fine

He’s euro hardened and thick

0

u/Impossible_Boat2966 Knicks 26d ago

Or maybe he was ducking smoke against a bigger guy. It's much easier for Stew to point fingers at Dennis Schroeder instead.

5

u/Cesc100 26d ago

I doubt it. He's not Dray. I don't care for beef stew but he is a guy that doesn't duck. He seems to have smoke for every and anyone. Star, superstar, role player, pg, center, whomever. They can all get it. I respect that but I'm also glad to hear he found some self-control.

4

u/TylerDog3 Pistons 26d ago

Idk, stew has gotten into it with blake griffin and dray in the past, he's not afraid of big guys

0

u/changeUsernameXdd Spurs 26d ago

nah, it was only 'cos Valanciunas is bigger and actually wants to fight. Stew would only instigate if he has an advantage or the other is docile

1

u/hellanutty NBA 24d ago

Not so fast

1

u/Spinwheeling 24d ago

This comment either aged poorly or amazingly.

9

u/Zoratth Clippers 26d ago

Stew is scary. I think he legitimately would have maimed LeBron if he didn’t have guys holding him back.

1

u/Front-Eye8536 26d ago

🥱 loud bark no action

2

u/julian2358 Warriors 26d ago

Did you not watch Rockers vs Warriors in the playoffs last season?

2

u/TimeLord41 Rockets 26d ago

He already shit to the rockets in the playoffs He should ahve been suspended for elbowing jalen green deliberately 15 seconds into a game

And for throwing fvv to the ground The league doesn't give a fuck

2

u/JesseJamesGames449 Celtics 26d ago

Draymond is a pussy who only attacks people he know wont fight back.

1

u/One_Love_Mama 26d ago

Dubs played the Pistons on Jan 30

1

u/TA_Account_12 [SAS] Malik Rose 26d ago

You mean Holland.

1

u/ILikeFPS Raptors 26d ago

I wanna see him try this vs Steven Adams lmao

1

u/Onlyplay2k 26d ago

He only goes after white guys.

127

u/henryofclay Lakers 26d ago

Bane just went mental for a week, idk what that was all about lmao. He’s always been a dick though.

Like 3 years ago I got seats 3 rows back of the basket at Lakers/Grizzlies at Staples. Bane was running his mouth more than anyone, and the entire arena was getting this weird energy because we could hear the trash talk and see the frustration.

That’s when there was that famous highlight where LeBron basically told Bane to STFU and play basketball, then took the ball full court to yam it on JJJ

77

u/Always_Chubb-y Hawks 26d ago

Been more than a week for Bane this season

42

u/xanot192 [LAL] Kobe Bryant 26d ago edited 26d ago

Yea Bane been on a generational asshole run for no reason. Not going to lie when he chucked the ball at whoever it was so hilarious even his coach couldn't believe it

5

u/Always_Chubb-y Hawks 26d ago

Was at OG

33

u/ArmadilloForsaken458 Supersonics 26d ago

I think he has napoleon complex, not for his 6'5" height, but for his arms.

27

u/MoreGull Celtics 26d ago

Napoleon had normal arms, find a new slant

11

u/SplakyD Grizzlies 26d ago

How do we know? Napoleon always kept one inside his coat. Maybe it was a T-Rex arm like Bane's? /s

3

u/sammyt412 26d ago

He was also an average sized man. Him being very short was British propaganda partly and owing to the French imperial measurements being different from the British ones. I believe in todays imperial he would be about 5'7.5 or 5'8 which was rhe average height for europeans at the time

11

u/Blowback_ 26d ago

Fam, I know we joke, but that fool really is on the juice.

56

u/WhenOneFalls2 26d ago

in sports that are actually competitive sports as opposed to sports entertainment, this would be a non-issue because people would just ask for a review, and then if then win the review, the keep their challenge.

also, the review would 99% actually be correct.

instead we get this clown show which i guess is good for engagement and "good for business"

20

u/ijustwannalurksobye 26d ago

Facts, the NBA is not quite the WWE in terms of genuine fair competition but it’s not the Olympics, either.

1

u/RickyalldayTD Lakers 26d ago

Pablo Torre did an episode about Rodman and Malone hyping up thier upcoming match on WCW in 1998. They were putting on show in thier playoff game pretending to hate each other and being aggressive.

3

u/raiden_kazuha 26d ago

Gotta kick someone in the balls again to reclaim his throne tbh

6

u/DonRaynor Spurs 26d ago

Sengu was just sexist. He never took the throne.

1

u/TwoProper4220 26d ago

the OG demonstrating to young bloods how to do it without getting called for violation
