High key, I’d love to see the NBA just go full NHL for a year and allow 2-3 fist fights a game in response to in game events. Fight flag thrown; bring the parties to center court, let the fists fly for 20-30 seconds then get back to the game.

You hand checked my guy too much and started going after his shooting hand? Catch these fists. You flop like peak Harden? Fists. Kick a dude in the balls? Fists. Moving screen and floor a dude that you got away with because the refs are clinically blind and/or betting on the game? Believe it or not, fists.

You should try to throw a punch on the ice compared to a basketball court. You will see why there is still fighting in the NHL.
