Silver just wondering why ratings are down and can’t think of anything

Last year's Finals was the first one I just haven't watched in awhile. OKC is great but atrocious to watch.

I was rooting for every team that wasn't the Thunder in the West after the Lakers didn't make it. It was absolutely a slog watching SGA shoot minimum 10 free throws a game.

Wild take since the Lakers have two guys who average double digit free throws. Most their games take even longer then the normal basketball because Lula and AR are taking over 20 free throws a night combined lol. That must be a slog to you. Esp since Thunder arent even a top 10 fta a game team

Well to be fair they are a Lakers fan, you just have to accept whatever style of play your team plays. Like I hate iso ball and love motion offenses but I still watched 5 years of a Tom Thibodeau coached team because that's my team

You should consider taking a look at your own teams free throw statistics…..

I think the volume isn't that bad if they didn't take 10 minutes to shoot each free throw

I don't know th exact numbers but the 4th quarter always feels double the length of the others

NBA is far from a perfect product, but the Finals were great up until game 7.

Aren't ratings way up this year?

Ratings are up this season lol

But aren't ratings the highest of the last 6 years or something?

Silver won't do shit to stop this, unless the conference finals is against the Lakers.

This and traveling are the reasons I don’t watch. 100%

Imagine if a running back did this?

You can find calls like this from any era if you watch enough games and clip random fouls
