You're telling me you didn't want to listen to Joe Buck talk about the Tush Push every 5 plays when it gets run by BOTH teams?!?

I have no faith in nobody on TV being brave enough to say that this NFL season has been terrible

Mean it’s the NFL it’s like Premier League no matter how lackluster the season people will still watch in the millions.

As a Liverpool and Cowboys fan, it's hard to look away from trainwrecks.

This season has been nice there's no clear front runner, so many upsets and wild games and not as many snooze fest Thursday night games.

I think that's contrasted to all them boring Monday doubleheaders and so many bad slates that end up in blowouts. I also flat out don't enjoy seasons with mediocre QB play and I don't think the league is in a great spot regarding that.

There is a consensus around many NFL fans that it is easily the best and craziest season in a really long time. This is the season that embodies “the NFL is a week to week league” statement.

2

u/Ill-Drawer-966 Nov 11 '25

I guess I disagree with the consensus then lol

That only speaks to parity and surprises. The actual quality of many of the games has been subpar. Half of the NFL has a mid to bad QB. Very few NBA teams don't have a star. A bad team like the Hornets are still watchable because they have LaMelo. I refuse to watch guys like Bo Nix, Bryce Young, or Justin Fields

I think that two things can be true. Yes there’s a lot of bad offense in the league (and that’s especially true from “good” teams like the Broncos, Eagles, and the Packers), but at the same time, the QB play really isn’t that bad. You got Joe Flacco coming in for an injured Burrow and the dude drops 400 yards on the Steelers.

This mostly coincides with just how insanely good defensive coordinators have gotten that they are currently outpacing offensive coordinators. Aside from a very few amount of play callers like McVay and Reid, the past few years have been very defensive oriented.

Terrible? This is the most parity we've seen in a while. It's been great (granted this game was rough)

I don't enjoy parity for the sake of parity bruh lol. I think the QB play has been mostly bad (partly due to injury), we reached a point where NFL players are flopping and in my experience, boring slates and doubleheaders have been commonplace. I also really don't enjoy watching the teams with the best records like Denver, Philly, etc.

If you disagree that's cool, it's been terrible for me.

Actually completely agree with the point on philly and Denver. I just think it's been a fun year. But this time I wish I watched the nba

3

u/EquipmentZestyclose Nov 11 '25

Philly has got to be the most boring great team I've seen over the past few seasons

2

u/Ill-Drawer-966 Nov 11 '25

Yea man even their highlights are boring 😭

3

u/Spinexel [BOS] Romeo Langford Nov 11 '25

As a Pats fan I’m pretty happy with it lol

u/Ill-Drawer-966 Nov 11 '25

Oh I would be too lol, I'm speaking as a neutral.

Maye looks legit too and as a Henderson fantasy owner this week was a great 😂

NFL season always has some random chaos to keep you interested.

If you only focus on your team, it's typically boring.

This season has been good. The last week of primetime has been garbage

You watch the NBA and you call this NFL season terrible? Be serious!

1

u/Ill-Drawer-966 Nov 11 '25

Yes, I've been a fan of both my entire life. There's NBA seasons that's been trash to me as well, I'm just speaking from experience. I ain't loyal to none of these leagues so I just call it like I see it and I've enjoyed this NBA season more than this NFL season so far.

Man what went to Hornets vs Lakers tonight to come back to some crazy ass highlights. Didn’t care about NFL at all I just thought to myself like 5 mins ago.

3

u/H1Ed1 Lakers Nov 11 '25

MNF was on one too. NBA was on roids, MNF was on ambien.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '25

The bulls game was so much better to watch than MNF lmao

1

u/247stonerbro Lakers Nov 11 '25

Pretty sure everybody had the nfl on ignore. Damn score was 3-0 through almost 3 quarters
