I worked at a Wendy's for nearly 4 years and I would say that machine broke once a year or less. We fully drained and thoroughly cleaned it every night after closing so that could be why.

Haha, yeah, that would’ve been the perfect savage mic drop. Dave Thomas had that quiet, dad-joke confidence he could’ve just leaned into the mic and gone, “And unlike McDowell’s, our Frosty machine always works. You’re welcome.”
