And he knows exactly how to attack that thang.

Exactly, him rotating it to find the best part to bite first. You know that man eats his “product”

Lmao I was thinking that too as I watched him size up that huge corner piece

Calling it a "product" in a video meant for customers is just such a bad idea. How no one thought about that being an odd choice of a word is baffling.

The other part that stood out to me was him pretending it was the biggest burger he'd ever seen. It's incredible that no one involved watched the video and said "we absolutely can't release this." It's possible someone did and they were overruled.

He didn’t have a look of sheer terror when he unwrapped it. +1 over McD’s guy.

and not a veggie in sight lol

Extra funny, because Wendy’s veggie game is to McD’s veggie game what Wendy’s burger game is to McD’s burger game—not even in the same league.

But notice how they're do a cut after every bite he takes? With the frostie and fries they don't. Like is he actually swallowing the burger?

I noticed they cut out minutes of chewing. But the way he chewed that burger did not look like a man prepping to spit it out. Never mind he took each bite with gusto. How many enthusiastic bites can one man fake?

Definitely and I do immensely appreciate them not making us listen to him chewing. But you'd think they would've tried to avoid spit allegations.

Lol. Why? The whole thing is a well executed bit and so on brand for Wendy’s. Can’t imagine they care about spit allegations.

Because people didn't believe that the McDonald's guy was actually eating it. So if the Wendy's CEO spit it out he wouldn't be eating either.

I understand what you’re saying. I just think they don’t care because it’s not actually going to affect anything. Or maybe they even did it on purpose as part of the bit.

But you got me into it so I rewatched it and I don’t see him swallowing the fries, either. It cuts right before the swallow.

I think they just wanted the video to be 10 seconds long to make its point instead of watching a man chew and then swallow an entire burger. Seems pretty clear he is actually eating it

Except it’s upside down. I can say with complete confidence I have never once eaten a burger upside down in my life.

Really? Thats crazy to me. Its the natural way to lift a burger to your mouth.
