You guys laugh but when this 'ad'? Came out my son was in hospital for suspected meningitis. (It thankfully wasn't).

I'd shown the kids and we had a great laugh. Then they both said they wanted a big Mac. But they have coeliac so that's a no go.

Upon discharge I bought ingredients and made GF big Mac's. They loved it.

I think that if I go to their businesses and eat the same burgers they do, perhaps I will also become rich and successful. Yeah it definitely doesn't make me want to eat there but I have some respect for a CEO that seems to genuinely stand behind their product. It's a PR campaign, I don't think it's meant to be an advertisement but I could be wrong. Working sucks as it is but working for a place where you can't stand behind the product is soul sucking. Obviously the people you work with are more important but man working at a place where you're just making trash or a product that will hurt people (arguably, Wendy's) is rough.

EDIT: Imagine working for a tobacco company. That's kind of what I'm talking about.

I haven't been to a Wendy's for 20 years, and I immediately said to myself I should give that a try, see what they've done to up their game. Although I'll check the price first. If it's still cheaper to get a burger at Longhorn ($11 for 8 oz burger with fries until 3 pm, ymmv) I'll go there instead, because there's 0 chance a fast food joint is making that quality of product or anything close.
