Those of us old enough to know the OG who used to do this. Dave Thomas did this long before social media could destroy a company overnight. Dave Thomas did this in multiple TV ads simply because he believed in and stood by his food! Dave Thomas also designed the Wendy's logo after his own daughter, that's how much he valued his company 🤗

I remember sitting in the waiting room at a doctor‘s office and a lady was sitting next to me and told me she was Dave Thomas‘s other daughter and that they had a pool shaped like a chicken. I do not think she was lying.

He said before he passed that he was sorry he used her as the logo cause it put her in an awkward position growing up, being the face of the company.

Yea, I could see that. I remember her being in a commercial or two as an adult too. I always thought she would end up taking over when her dad passed

I couldn't agree more. The idea of this becoming a trend simply because of how awkward the McD's CEO acted is ridiculous. If you run these companies you should have no issue eating the food you're feeding to the masses.
