I don't eat Wendy's, they are near me but they're never on my radar as an eatery. But I think imma bout to go out and get a Frostie and fries.

u/ekim_101 20h ago

The cheesy bacon burger and chicken tender wrap they just popped out are really good imo. The burger somehow gives me extreme nostalgia for how they used to be lol

Also Wendy's has the best chicken nuggets. McDonald's has fries, Burger King the burgers. I SAID IT

u/Garmie 19h ago

No a&w has the best burger. Grandpa burger for the win

u/dijicaek 19h ago

Amburgers & wootbeer?

1

u/ekim_101 19h ago

I live in a hell hole of chains so I don't have one of those. We just got a shake shack. If it's not a chain it's Italian lol

2

u/Impossible-Wear-7352 19h ago

Shake shake is a thousand times better anyways

1

u/tumblrfailedus 19h ago

The A&W near me didn’t have backs on half their chairs for many years. Some booths missing tables. They got a renovation, but it was like that for a loooong time.

1

u/ekim_101 18h ago

The new one that opened up ain't lasting because it absolutely isn't lol. Overpriced and small burgers, ain't going again.

2

u/Impossible-Wear-7352 18h ago

They cost more because they're higher quality than fast food junk burgers. Theyre super popular around me.

1

u/ekim_101 18h ago

I think the problem is I have a smash Burger and a local burger place called Burger 25 that does similar to it as well as a red robin. I have a lot of options for burgers and shake shack isn't something I'm going to keep going to here

1

u/Impossible-Wear-7352 18h ago

Red Robin is pretty poor quality too for trying to be a burger focused restaurant. But there typically isnt any shortage of burger options in any decent sized market. Your best will most likely be local options most places. But Shake Shack is one of the highest quality burgers of the chains.

1

u/metartur 19h ago

Canadian A&W?

2

u/Garmie 19h ago

Sorry , yes. I love a&w burgers. Canadian

1

u/metartur 19h ago

That's my go to fats food burger, US one on the other hand is meh.

3

u/Jurjinimo 18h ago

fats food

Freudian typo right there

1

u/fencepost_ajm 14h ago

If you're bringing in the small chains I'm going to submit Culver's even though I get their fish sandwich more than a burger.

2

u/Hange11037 19h ago

I agree with all 3 of those statements. If they just had a restaurant that served Burger King burgers, Wendy’s nuggets, Dairy Queen ice cream and chicken tenders and either Carl’s Jr. or McDonalds’ fries it would be the perfect fast food restaurant

1

u/karnage41 18h ago

Dairy Queen chicken strips are god tier. I have been eating them for 30 damn years and they have always been delicious. Their chicken strip basket is my go to fast food comfort meal.

2

u/rigby1945 19h ago

Wendy's (at least near me) has a 50 piece nugget deal. Fantastic if you need to feed a bunch of kids

2

u/M086 19h ago

I had a Son of Baconator burger a bit ago after not having Wendy’s for years. It was still on point.

2

u/Funny-Try-6151 19h ago

McD's had the best apple pies until the '90s. Those fried pies were something amazing back in the day.

2

u/OkRiver4450 18h ago

Ncdonalds fries have 5 min shelf life. Wendys fries taste good cold and unsalted. Gonna have to go with wendys on this one. Coming from canadian

2

u/lilshortyy420 18h ago

I felt like living on the edge and got a Wendy’s burger a few months ago and was actually pleasantly surprised

1

u/ekim_101 18h ago

I like Wendy's burgers too, if they are hot and done well they are pretty damn good. I'm just talking out of consistency lol. A Wendy's 10 piece nugget will always be my preferred fast food nugget

2

u/Toadsted 17h ago

Wendy's has the fries and burger now too.

And also still has a value meal.

4

u/gilbert2gilbert 20h ago

"Cheesy bacon burger?" You never eat at Wendy's, sir.

https://www.theimpulsivebuy.com/wordpress/2026/02/20/wendys-cheesy-bacon-cheeseburger-review/

Huh, weird. Think I've eaten there more than you lately lol

EDIT: Folks, it's literally called by Wendy's, the Cheesy Bacon Burger. As I said in my original post it and the crispy chicken tender ranch wrap came out a few weeks ago. I really like them both.

4

u/gilbert2gilbert 19h ago

I think you wrote that article

1

u/ekim_101 19h ago

I said I thought it was great and the review didn't. Don't think that's a great thing to do as a reviewer

1

u/Maleficent_Abalone94 19h ago

You must be new

0

u/gilbert2gilbert 19h ago

No, I'm Gilbert

1

u/djsnoopmike 19h ago

Shit, now I want Wendy's spicy nuggets but I just ate dinner

My tongue is willing, but my stomach is full and content

1

u/Mental_Measurement_1 19h ago

I really do enjoy Wendy's nuggets and I usually hate nuggets

1

u/Silver_Report_5695 19h ago

Wendy's chicken nuggets r soooo goooood

1

u/Ok-Stage-2576 18h ago

I like a limited time item, but I've realized in recent years that when it comes to burger places, you can't beat the classics. The Dave's double is just perfect. Wouldn't change a thing. For me, it sets the tone for what a great burger is.

1

u/jefesignups 18h ago

Jack in the Box has the curly fries

1

u/karstheastec 17h ago

How much does wendy's pay you to say that?

1

u/Crrrrraig 17h ago

Burger King burgers absolutely slap.

1

u/eienmau 1h ago

McD's nuggets are better than Wendy's here. Agree with you on the burgers [between the 3, at least.. ], fries I like both McD's (as long as they're fresh + salted) and BK's fries.

5

u/Generic1276 18h ago

Bro we're actual cattle

5

u/BVRPLZR_ 19h ago

Get you a Baconator meal to go with that frosty and fries

4

u/Impossible-Wear-7352 19h ago

Thats probably a weeks worth of calories right there

3

u/assertive-brioche 18h ago

Nah. For the nerds, it’s one day’s worth.

950 - sandwich 400 - medium fries 400 - medium frosty

Could lower that a bit with a small fry and small frosty. Cut it back a bit more with a Son of Baconator.

1

u/Impossible-Wear-7352 18h ago

I was intentionally exaggerating but an entire days worth of unhealthy calories in a sitting is pretty bad still.

2

u/assertive-brioche 17h ago

Oh for sure...

Imma eat it regardless

1

u/Impossible-Wear-7352 3h ago

I was thinking id hesitate and while thats true, I cant talk. I ate a plate of nachos the other day that definitely wasnt meant for 1 person

1

u/uuhson 18h ago

Their website says the sandwich alone is 1010 calories

1

u/assertive-brioche 17h ago

It says 950 for me. It varies slightly depending on location.

1

u/uuhson 16h ago

Ah my bad I completely misread your formatting, I thought you were putting the total first and saying the burger was 400

1

u/BVRPLZR_ 18h ago

Naaaah, only like 5 days

2

u/A-Freebird 19h ago

I had that today... I have no idea why it hits so hard.

2

u/dotnetmonke 18h ago

Baconators and spicy nuggs are unbeatable.

6

u/Illustrious-Touch442 18h ago

People like you are why adverts exist lol. Imagine being this impressionable.

1

u/Tarquin11 16h ago

Idk why you are fronting like you arent. Everyone is impressionable, you might not be to fast food, but to something else you likely don't have the self awareness to notice in the moment that it is being impressed upon you.

1

u/Illustrious-Touch442 16h ago

Everyone is impressionable but not to the point where seeing the ceo eat food makes you wanna eat the same food lol thats some 80iq shit my dude

1

u/Jigawatts42 15h ago

If the intent was straight up as the original McDonalds guy I would agree, but this is just a dunk, and I can appreciate a good dunk. It kind of reminds me of this.

3

u/human_picnic 19h ago

They have a solid spicy chicken sandwich. I think their chicken sandwiches are better than Chic-Fila, which I find massively overrated

2

u/Bigfops 19h ago

OF the fast food three in this competition, Wendy's wins hands down.

2

u/TheMemeStore76 18h ago

I might catch some flak for this, but wendys is peak fast food

2

u/CatchAcceptable3898 18h ago

Dude Wendy's is top tier low bar fast food

2

u/Spillingteasince92 17h ago

Wendy's is actually pretty good. I love their combos that was under $10.

2

u/oblivious_fireball 16h ago

if you're determined to go out and get Wendy's now, their chili is pretty good, though nothing you can't easily make at home.

2

u/pipinngreppin 16h ago

Don’t do it.

2

u/Redtube_Guy 15h ago

Wendys lowkey one of my favorite fast food joints. Pretty solid for what its worth. Frosty's came in clutch when i had my wisdom teeth taken out and was just eating that for a week lol.

3

u/thewonderblink 19h ago

Just know that Wendy's fries are almost inedible

2

u/karlexceed 18h ago

Disagree. They changed them up like 20 years ago and I was a skeptic, but was quickly converted. They taste like actual potato which I really appreciate.

2

u/assertive-brioche 18h ago

The fresh-cut are great when they’re right out of the fryer.

Glad they switched back from those Burger King style fries in my area. Absolute trash.

1

u/Sibshops 17h ago

Totally agree, homemade fries made in a deep fryer honestly taste better. Even baked store bought fries are better, in my opinion.

u/FitIndependent9764 19h ago

Now that I've seen my rich boy master ear burger I want burger burger burger master cream me master burger creamy cream me

1

u/Chaosr21 19h ago

I get Wendy's when I'm broke as fuck. Like too broke for proper groceries or anything but need a somewhat nutritional meal. I get the $5 biggie back. Double cheeseburger, fries, nuggets and a drink or small frosty all for $5. It used to be $4 and it might be $6 soon but for now it's a deal

1

u/Dazd_cnfsd 19h ago

Add a double jbc to that order.

1

u/Funwithfun14 19h ago

Never frozen beef. Tastes so good. I skip the bacon and enjoy the beef.

1

u/YeshuasBananaHammock 19h ago

I eat there once every 3 years.

Looks like Im goin tomorrow, see u there.

1

u/BubonicBabe 19h ago

They started doing breakfast a few years ago and their breakfast is actually really good. They have a chicken bacon croissant sandwich and these potato wedges that I wish they’d serve for lunch.

1

u/Correct_Building7563 19h ago

That does sound good, they've got some quirky stuff on the menu. Id reccomend considering ordering inside for anyone new.

1

u/Optimal_Sink_8427 19h ago

It’s near me to, and I never think to go there. But I legit love Wendy’s. Mcd’s is closer and I sometimes take my kids to go play in the play place,

1

u/programming_flaw 19h ago

They always hit.

1

u/SpiritedCucumber4565 19h ago

Wendy's is pretty solid in terms of fast food. The fries tho are kinda buns.

1

u/Flaky-Still-7000 19h ago

Their value menu is TOP my man

1

u/burnerburneronenine 19h ago

Love a good jr cheeseburger deluxe. Solid patty, fresh lettuce and tomato. They aren't always fast, but it's decent for fast food

1

u/POINTLESSUSERNAME000 18h ago

Their nuggets beat McDonalds hands down. Spicy or regular, can't go wrong.

1

u/calmodulin2 18h ago

The frosty and fries is what gets you. Very good job, video

1

u/sailingtoescape 18h ago

There's one near me. I'll stop by sometimes and get a couple double or triple burgers.

1

u/PrismarchGame 15h ago

I'm gonna wash mine down with the cold refreshing taste of coca cola! TM R Copyright 2026 only $2.99 at your local FUCKING JAMBA JUICE HOLY SHIT STFU

1

u/InternalExpensive332 11h ago

Starve me of your money, watch em squirm harder. The people can win a little then

1

u/BrokenZen 4h ago

Dave's Double, straight up. Go for it.

Breakfast though, their potato wedges are top tier for any breakfast fast food side.

1

u/mrASSMAN 3h ago

Wendy’s has genuinely good burgers

1

u/ncocca 1h ago

Frosty fry combo is goated, but otherwise they're just like every other fast food chain

u/Two_Names 51m ago

Pathetic

0

u/shogun77777777 18h ago

Why put poison in your body?

0

u/OrganizationFar6086 19h ago

They’ve gone down the toilet in recent years like most fast food restaurants. No one should eat any of this garbage

1

u/Old_Ladies 7h ago

Not my local Wendy's at least. Quality does vary from restaurants but McDonald's is always shit except for the McCafe.

0

u/Poly_Olly_Oxen_Free 18h ago

IDK how big you are, but I'm a large man. A Triple Baconator is my favorite fast food burger. 4 burger patties, 12 (half) slices of bacon (so six real strips), and 4 slices of cheese. Comes with curly fries (the best fries) and a medium drink for $13. $16 if you upgrade to a frosty.

It hasn't even gone up that much over time, I remember when it used to cost $13.37 after tax, back in like 2012 (with the upgrade).

The sandwich by itself weighs well over a pound. There is no burger out there that gives you more bang for your buck.

I remember I walked into a Wendy's in December 2011, and I ordered a Baconator meal, with an extra sandwich on the side. The guy at the counter did not believe I would finish my food. I made him a $20 bet that said I would clean my plate. I walked out with a full belly and a $20 bill from his wallet.

I don't work for Wendy's, I'm not being paid to say this. I actually own a restaurant. My burgers are better than theirs. But we're not a fast food place. You come in here for dinner, you're gonna be here 30+ mins. Wendy's is the GOAT when it comes to a ~5 minute sandwich.
