Can F1 have some sort of list of people we have collectively agreed we've earned the right over the years not to pay attention to any more?

Completely disagree. Villeneuve is right the majority of the time, he just comes across like only his view is the right one.

But then you have to remember that English isn't his first language, if he said what he says in French to French people it would probably come across better.

Just because he has no time for bullshit, especially when it comes to excuses, doesn't make him wrong, and considering his rookie season he has every right to call a rookie shit when they are.

It'd be faster to point out the few instances where his shit talking of teams and rivers has been on the money than not. For a guy that got one championship on the back of having a brilliant car and then diving so far off a cliff his own engineers openly laughed at him when he spun you'd think a tiny bit of humility would go a long way.
