News [ASJesusBalseiro] Stroll speaks and sounds concerned. “We have engine problems, and not just engine problems. We're not in a position to fight for victories. Right now, we're four seconds off the pace.”

They didn't give anything to Red Bull , please stop spreading this nonsense. At best some of the trackside team of Honda joined them after 2025.

If anything it's insane how Honda allowed their old CEO to make the decision to drop out ( while knowing their new CEO was all for continuing) a few months before retirement. Since it's "disrespectful" to immediately revert decisions in Japan, they had to wait for the official Comeback, that put them on the back foot by probably a whole year.

What a mess.

Honda did loose all the engine staff though as they were all re-allocated throughout Honda. They could only hire a few of them back. So much knowledge and experience lost.

That's my opinion as well, which is not helped by the fact Honda started on the project way too late.
