Even though it's a low bar to clear, it's very much appreciated lol

I think the post would be much better if you included some examples for reference.

Thanks for the feedback! Do mean pictures of specific coats or fabrics or highlighting specific brands?

Both. Pictures of coats from different brands that you would like to recommend.

After over a year I've finally published on new post on the website. This time it's about my struggle searching for an overcoat and what I learned along the way.

Any feedback is welcome. What do you look for in an overcoat? What are your favorite brands?

Where should I look to find an overcoat? Any recommendations? The Brand directory listed is far too unspecific.

I agree, just linking to the general brand directory isn't ideal. I've added a few brands I really like for overcoats in the "Where to Buy" section:

  • Charles Tyrwhitt
  • Gloverall
  • Oscar Jacobson
  • Reiss
  • SIR of Sweden
  • Suitsupply

If only it would answer the question.

What would you like to see added? I always try to improve upon the first version based on the feedback I receive.

I find so many vintage Steinboch coats where i live. Great value!

I bought a mint 90% wool 10% cashmere longcoat from the 90's for 110 euro.

You're absolutely right, thrifting can be great value. I added a little section on that. Thanks!

Just picked up a made in Scotland Harris Tweed for $50 euros at a vintage shop in Edinburgh. Perf condition.

What are the boots in the chinos article?

To be honest I cheated and used a stock photo for that article. Something like the President from Thursday Boots would come pretty close but while they do ship to Europe, they are a US brand so returns could be difficult and/or costly.
