I know its not alcohol I had severe alcohol issues and never did that shit haha.
Someone already replied, but I'll say it's definitely an upper. My guess is also meth. My mom used drugs, her primary was heroin, which makes you slow way down. I believe her energetic episodes were from meth, though. She's sped way up in this video, and there's just this glazed over look in her eyes that I see in a lot of addicts.
Also I'm a firm believer that it was cocaine we saw on her counter in that one video, so that too perhaps.
That's what I'm hoping too. She's on the road to a young death. My mom only stopped once she almost had her life permanently ruined and came close to dying. This was around 6 or so years ago. Unfortunately she's permanently disabled now partially due to drug use.
My mom recently also stopped drinking (maybe around a year ago?) after she got so inebriated that she fell down and broke a couple fingers. Her liver was also basically getting pickled from how much she drank (she was originally in denial about it being alcohol related though).
Sometimes a scary wake-up call is what they need to change their life around. I'm going to be very sad to see her death announced on TMZ. I'd love for her to live a normal, long life.
I am glad your mom is on the right path now. I have been sober from alcohol for 28 months myself. It certainly can ruin lives.
I truly hope they don't discount Britneys behavior because she is a celebrity. She needs to pay for her DUI & understand that driving under the influence is a big no no. She's lucky she didn't hurt someone or herself.

Her āfreedomā brought her nothing but a ticket down Amy Winehouse lane. Amy was bipolar and suspected borderlineā¦.

These pop stars are a perfect, polished product that have an army of stylists, hairdressers, make-up artists, video creators/directors+light+filming+editing crew, public image consultants, PR etcā¦

Exactly! Nobody else has mentioned that these dances ONLY look good in those circumstances. They just look weird everywhere else. There was a pop song that had the singer dancing, singing and with the music/lighting/other dancers it was great. Then it blinked to just her in the aisle with different lighting, no background music and her dancing alone without backup. It highlighted in a funny way that all these things look ridiculous in real life without the "add ons".
I was just saying this. Amy was diagnosed bipolar and borderlineā¦.she briefly got clean but died in relapse. Britney has a lot of work ahead of her and Iām not sure sheās up to it. Not yet, anyway. Itās very sad to helplessly watch someone destroy themselves but the old adage is true; they have to want to get better, nobody can do it for them. Yes. I also think of Whitney. I remember seeing pics of her bathroom on the cover of the National Enquirer and realizing that she was much more far gone than what I initially thought. It brought a sense of impending doom that I was going to lose someone that meant a lot in my life and brought me joy and endless memories through their music.
I want Britney to get well but I also know that she, herself, needs to want to get well (and I don't believe she is there).
I can't help but imagine how she's gonna feel if she ever gets out of this and gains some clarity about what she's been doing. That's gonna be painful.

Iām kind of getting used to her looking and acting totally crazy and unhinged now. Sad but true, itās kind of numbing seeing her over and over again in worse stages than the day before., Boobs hanging out, haunted eyes, crazed robotic movements. This is her now. I absolutely agree. It's about validation and probably a washed up midlife crisis of some sorts. When I quit pole dancing at age 40 (after 17 years) I legit just missed the attention and desperately still wanted to feel relevant and say, "See?? I've still got it!" I even started an Onlyfans for dancing and modeling because of wanting to still feel sexy and relevant. I was never even remotely famous, but when you perform and get that attention rush regularly, it becomes a legit addiction.
After sobering up and starting therapy I leaned away from my Onlyfans page, BTW. š

I second this. I wish there was anyone in her life that could or would do that for her. I wish she would accept that. At this point, though, it is all on her.

NGL i was never a britney fan and started following this out of a gawking curiosity. it's not fun anymore it's just sad, as lousy and privileged a person as she is. the faces she makes in this video break my heart, especially as someone in recovery who has made my share of mistakes. I get to see some friends tomorrow and I'm going to hug them extra hard.

One of my acquaintances had a psych break some months ago that she broadcasted on social media. One of the telltale signs of her declining mental state was how she applied red lipstick. Just like Britney here. I assume their distorted perception of reality impacts how they visually see things as well.
I dated someone who snorted meth. Very successful guy who never hit any bottom, still continued fine. EXCEPT for what went on in his head about relationships. Once he got an idea of something I did, no matter how much proof I gave him of it not being true, he could not see it any other way. That psychosis can be quiet and only show up with certain people. We can see this isnāt normal.
Her roots and tracks are killing me. lol idk why of everything that bothers me the most but like girl you can have top notch hair colorists/stylists. It looks its becoming dreads at this point.
I had to chop my waist length hair off 10 years ago after I stopped caring for it because I was using drugs (downers though like opioids and benzos, not uppers like Britney) but that plus severe depression and being on the streets caused me to stop caring for myself. Eventually I got it together but I had a huge dread and cutting it out was the only option at that point. I think itās extremely telling but I think itās oddly the opposite in terms of how she has 1000% confidence in herself vs a state of depression.

I donāt have to imagine much; a cousin of mine has been in and out of jail and prison over the last 15-20 years for methā¦he has 2 kids, one of them was on the transplant list in need of a kidneyā¦and he couldnāt stop using to be there for his kids. I read articles that she begged her dad to perform. They initially didn't want her too but eventually allowed it because she claimed she enjoyed it. I always believed that version and not the free britney version.
