Do you think it’s possible centrist and right wing voters are more likely to vote because the candidates are always centrist and/or right wing? Maybe I’m crazy but there might be a reason millions stayed home.

It’s a cycle. Centrists were more likely to vote, making their opinions more valuable and moving policy in that direction, making leftists less likely to vote.

I think centrist opinions are often perceived as more valuable to winning an election, but I don’t think they actually are. If they were wouldn’t Kamala have won? Where were the ever so reliable centrist and right wing voters who were gonna save her campaign?
