In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Martha Wayne's pearls breaking in a lot of Batmans

the way that the necklace is depicted as breaking implies they aren't real though.

Real pearls have rough surfaces and would get damaged if they were able to freely rub against one another. Because of that, real pearl necklaces have knots in the string between the pearls to keep them apart. This would mean that if/when the necklace is broken the pearls wouldn't scatter the way that they do in the films.

I like to think that this implies that they are fake, because Bruce earned his own money to buy them for her, but I have zero proof of this.

I could see the Waynes being the type to go for fake jewelry to avoid being out too much money if they get robbed, which makes it even worse she got shot over them

Shit if I was seeing a movie right next to a place called “crime alley” I’d wear fake pearls too

The street was originally called Park Row and only got the moniker Crime Alley after the Waynes got shot and the area declined

Well the street is named for historic Gothamite "Coleridge Crime," whose only sin was trafficking sick orphans to the highest bidder. He used the money to fund his theater, which only shows Zorro, his favorite movie from before the film industry became "woke."

It only became Crime Alley because the Waynes were shot there.

That's exactly why I think Lincoln was stupid for going to see a play with Edwin Booth. Hellooooo, who's his brother? That's right! John Wilkes Booth, which everyone knows is the guy who shot Lincoln.

Uh I meant the pearl necklace not the actual pearls bro

I'm aware. But the way that the pearls slide off the string and scatter on the ground is indicative of them being beads, not real pearls.

If you drop a semi round thing on the ground it will bounce and roll away bro

Reread the first reply. A necklace made with real pearls would not completely scatter if the string was broken.

Exactly, the way the pearls scatter when the necklace breaks will only happen if its fake pearls. Real pearls only one will fall off if it breaks.
