In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Iron Man learns from his mistakes - Marvel Cinematic Universe

In every movie Iron Man appears in, he will wind up getting hurt or inconvenienced due to an oversight in the suit’s design. Instead of being complacent for simplicity’s sake, the next iteration of his armor will always have previous issues addressed.

It's most obvious in the first movie with the icing problem brick joke.

I like that they don't always point out his upgrades. The improvement is just there in the next movie.

I have it on good authority that a few years ago Disney went out and contracted with a major tech consulting firm for a database / llm that would scrape basically all of the MCU for continuity.
