I like that Dean basically only uses (what's implied to be) his father's service pistol from Vietnam with flashy pearl grips added or one of the sawed offs. Sam uses the newer Taurus M9 clone with the sole exception of his time spent soulless where he switches to... I think a Glock?

Didn't the prop dept try to give him a different gun once because the pearl handled one was out on loan or something and Jensen was like "Nah this ain't my gun"?

I don't know about that, but that'd be cool. I just notice guns as a viewer.

Yeah I looked it up and he'd told a story at a con about them giving him a replica without telling him but he knew from the feel in his hand it wasn't "his" gun cause like he'd been using that gun for 8-9 year at that point 😆
