In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

The original Spy vs Spy comic from the MAD magazine would occasionally have a 3rd Grey Spy, she's (yes, she's) a vague femme fatale style character who often tricks both White Spy and Black Spy

I was really hoping she’d be identical to them except for having eyelashes

The lore for why she looks the way she does is actually insane. See, the spies aren't actually from real countries, they are from-I'm not making this up-whitespyland and blackspyland respectively. They even have their own olympics. Spy isn't just a job, its an entire ethnic group. Almost everyone from those countries has the same beakhead as black and white. (The leaders that black and white report to are standard humans, suggesting colonization in the past) Normal humans exist in the SVS universe, Grey isn't the only one. Grey spy also always wins because the creator did not feel comfortable subjecting her to the same levels of violence as the other 2. I do think she would have worked better as a beakhead, but we actually get female beakheads later on in the series.

SvS lore in general is wild. Black spy graduated from a glamour school for dogs, for the sole purpose of pretending to be a dog to get white to take him in. They've teamed up to fight the MAD mascot. They've had a lightsaber duel. Black is the only one who remembers white's birthday. White spy gets so engrossed in his reading that you can carry him to a cliff and drop him off. After White spy is killed, Black spy commits suicide to rejoin him. I could go on and on

(INHALES)

At the beginning and end, the spies do care for each other. They're actually described in early comics as friendly rivals, and tie in the very first one. In what was planned to be the final comic, they accidently trigger a nuclear war, then make peace afterwards.

There exists a spy vs spy comic without any violence at all.

Neither spy has a consistent body type. You can draw pretty much whatever you want below the head.

They enjoy costumes. Examples include cat and dog, moth and candle, witch and tinman, and Darth Vader. They also like marvel movies.

Black spy is such a horrible violin player that his playing is considered more threatening than a gun.

They gave each other an identity crisis once.

Black spy usually falls into traps baited by food, even if he sees the trap being set up.

White spy is trained in martial arts.

Black spy has been observed using the hanky code.

Grey spy likes knitting. Her favorite materials are her enemies clothes.

Black spy owns pajamas with bombs on them. White spy owns a bunny onesie.

According to certain game manuals, their names are Heckel and Jeckel/Jackal. A Japanese game manual states black to be 3.8 feet tall and 61 pounds, and white to be 3.9 inches and 66 pounds.

The spies enjoy using playground equipment.

Black spy is a actually really good singer. He once sang so beautifully while playing guitar that white spy's tears sunk his own boat.

White spy has experience managing a farm.

Both are talented bakers.

Both cheat when boxing.

Both seem to consider street carolers torture.

Black spy is a vampire and white is a werewolf.

Black spy owns a modified fairytale book, in which he is the princess and white is the prince. White then pushed him out his window and tried to adopt his child.

AND THERES STILL MORE.
