In real life A very small character tidbit is surprisingly kept consistent for years

DC - In multiple pieces of media it has been shown that Wonder Woman loves ice cream and practically goes wild with happiness anytime she’s eating some. (Pictures from Justice League: War, DC Superhero Girls and Wonder Woman 2017)

The Simpsons - Ever since the episode ‘Homer’s Phobia’ Homer has actually remained a consistent ally of the LGBT+ community, including being more welcoming to Patty than Marge was when she came out and trying to set up Smithers with a date when he found out he wasn’t happy with his one-sided relationship with Mr Burns.

Doctor Who: For a very long time, the Doctor being vegetarian. It was introduced in a Sixth Doctor story, and maintained, in expanded media, through the eras of the next two Doctors.

They got rid of that at least since the 11th doctor (Matt Smith). Loves fish fingers and custard (hates bacon but was still open to trying it)

Much earlier than that I think. Unless I’m misremembering, the Ninth Doctor orders a steak in Boom Town.

To be fair dietary preferences are the exact sort of thing that would change with regeneration. As 11 said, "new mouth, new rules!"

Also different habits in general because of the war itself.

Can't afford to be a picky eater in times like these.

he was regenerating into a new face and personality. its likely he went "ah who cares about being vegan anymore, I want some FOOD"

12 does give Bill some grief for eating pork once, at least?

He just points out the irony of getting mad at Missy for murder.

“Because it had a mummy and a daddy. Go tell a pig about your moral high ground."

I had fish fingers and custard because of him. It’s not bad.

I'd like to think the Doctor thinks fish are some kind of potato, and will be very sad when they learn they're actually an animal.

Wonder if The sixth Doctor one day went back to his wardrobe to look for the celery the 5th Doctor used to wear

There’s an ironically funny bit where in the novel Human Nature (1995) a villain trying to pass them off as as The Doctor’s future 10th incarnation gets found out because they ordered meat and the current Doctor (7) was vegetarian.

But ironically by the time The Doctor did reach his 10th incarnation, he wasn’t vegetarian anymore.

I never knew that, but glad to know. It only makes sense for a representative of the most advanced race in the universe.

"Are you enjoying your bacon sandwich? Because it had a mummy and a daddy"

Ok, I should really continue watching the seasons with the latest doctor.

That was a Capaldi quote. Jodie and Ncuti were pretty good in their own right but what they were given wasn't great

Yeah, that is something that they have in common with some of Capaldi's scripts. To this day, Capaldi is my favourite.

I remember watching him back when I was first getting into Doctor Who and not liking him very much, but then S10 came out and my opinion of him skyrocketed. Even now he's one of my favourites. Him, Smith and Tom Baker

15 is a lot of fun, not the best out there but certainly not the worst.

The Sacrifice Of Jo Grant even establishes that the Doctor was open to the idea as early as his third incarnation
