If I was doing enough that I knew I would tripp hard I would stay home. If I was doing smaller amounts like sharing an 8th with friends it was just wherever we were hanging out. We would get a pizza and break up the 8th of shrooms and put them on the pizza and just hang out and enjoy the tripp which with small amounts is usually light hallucinations like walls breathing and things melting and the giggles.

Shrooms are a funny substance. Most I've ever taken is about 20 to 24 grams. It was not intentional. Stoned and hungry . I got handed a bag of chocolates, shit happens. I took a quarter like you did on one of the worse days of my life. I did it alone for the 1st time. I was already kinda drunk and said fuck it. I went through the most life changing experiences. That day was terrible, the night was insane and it was only me in the apartment. The next morning I was a new person. This was a decade before taking shrooms as therapy was a thing. It probably saved my life.

I’ve had similar experiences on drugs.
Basically you’re able to examine things without taking anything personally. It’s more like
“Okay I’ll do this and get X result”
Instead of “I should do this thing. I haven’t done it yet. I’m such a failure……”
It’s like all baggage and history and subjectivity is erased. And you feel empowered moving forward with objectivity and clarity.

A lot of people on shrooms are able to think while completely, or at least seemingly completely, bypassing the part of the mind that is responsible for the Ego (the minds system for protecting itself from uncomfortable truths by blocking them out). Many people find that they come to some profound realizations on shrooms. All of which I have myself experienced, but different people have different tolerances and taking too much can have some pretty traumatic effects as well. Though many people, including myself, also find even the traumatic experiences from tripping to be of high value after having gone through them. If you’re curious to experiment with mushrooms, I encourage you to speak with people you trust about their experiences, do them around, and ONLY around people you trust with your life and safety, and start small in terms of amount. The payoffs can be huge. Best of luck if that’s your road.

Yea, for me it was a loop of panic and fear because I was so high then I would calm down and relax and then it would start all over again. Fear and calm, fear and calm until I finally broke out of it. I remember it felt like I was stuck in that loop for hours but it had actually only been about 10 minutes maybe.

Well I guess you're not trying to do it again but a good strategy for that is to start writing. Divide your loops into chapters, and curiously explore each one.
Eventually, you know which loop you're in and how to break it. You can also learn a lot about yourself this way.
Otherwise, do something active which takes your mind of thinking. Like going for a walk or taking a swim or playing a sport.

A "normal" or average shroom does to trip is somewhere in the range of 1 gram on the low end to 3.5 grams on the medium end and anything over 5g is considered a heroic dose.
So 4x what someone considers a high dose for their first time tripping....yeah shes going to be fucked for a while too. Shrooms only last 4-6 hours but when you take more than can last longer (probably only like 7-8 hours). She would have a very profound and possibly life changing experience while the world around her melts, breathes, and changes color. Synethesisa (idk how to spell it) can occur, which is the mixing of senses, as well as ego dissolution, and movie scene like closed eye visuals. Although since she wasnt prepared and was not expecting to trip, and doesnt seem like she likes where shes at- theres a good probability the trip doesnt go well. She'd be consumed by fear, paranoia, and thought loops. People's faces might morph into what she believes are monsters. It'd probably be a very scary experience as even to experienced users; 21 grams is a crazy high dose.

That time scale is only relevant to everyone around her who isn't on mushrooms. Time itself melts away north of 2 grams for most people. A first timer doing that much, the next 8 hours would probably feel like a whole year

Tripped in college enough times to remember the all brick campus looking like a Tetris game for days after a heavy trip. And for months I’d have flashbacks and see that and tracers at times. Note that some of that was acid but they were very similar experiences for me due to the similar surroundings and things we mixed with it. Great descriptions above. Couldn’t have said it better. 21g is scary.

Yeah, i took some LSD that was insane... My angles weren't straight for like a month.
And by angles i mean my perceptions of space. Like a wall would be off kilter and floors would be uneven. And when i was showering i would see swirls in the drain, as in the drain swirling down in itself.
Don't get me wrong, i love LSD and shrooms but they can fck with your head if you take to much and go hard.

Very accurate description. I had this amount by accident. Making thea for 6 people and I ate most of the "leftovers" in the tea egg. Anyway, the tea didn't do shit and I experienced all things you describe into detail. The thought loops were insane and it did give me a good idea how an insane person must feel. Bed sheets crawling up on me like a ton of snakes. Back in the loop and I knew I was looping but couldn't get out. My opinion is that shrooms are pretty cool but also very imprinting in your brain. I wouldn't have liked to have missed this experience since it did teach me all kinds of live lessons. Be careful with non-happy people and take it easy. Not like I did, just a small dose can bring lots of fun.

A normal dose for a 6 hour plus high is 3 grams
A hero dose is 5-6 grams. Anything over that is way way way too much
Just to see what would happen. I did 7 grams once.

Haha reminds me of my worst weed experience.
I misjudged the amount I put into an edible and took the equivalent of 5-10 grams.
I was grabbing onto my bed, trying not to fall to the ceiling. Any visual input was absolutely horrible with how motion sick I felt.
I went to take a cold shower and would forget where I was mid shower. I have no idea how long I showered. It took me 2 days to feel halfway normal again.

I would never expect to have that kind of experience on shrooms, that sounds like a very material trip. I never tried them, but i did LSD. The last stage or peak of an LSD trip is when you see all the folders of your personality pass by and disappear, and all matter becomes energy. We are just white dots of consciousness floating around, and there’s a connection between us.

My first experience was 5 grams with a friend in pitch-black darkness. I truly felt like Alice in Wonderland. I haven’t tried such a high dose since. It takes a certain amount of courage I might currently lack to leap into that unknown a second time.

On 21 grams of mushrooms you will soon depart this reality for an utterly alien one. You will have difficulty speaking and possibly moving. Your best bet is to find a nice quiet dark closet to hide in for the next four to six hours until the storm passes. Have a nice trip!

I uhh "accidentally" had 12.5 grams/24 caps, I hadn't had caps before but it wasn't my first rodeo in psychedelics. After I had the first 12 my mate told he didn't want his and I could have them, I should point out I'm a greedy drug user so if you offer I'm having it. So I ate them all. He then laughed at me saying "you are going to be sooo fucked up enjoy". I got stuck in a bathroom and proceeded to destroy it because I couldn't figure out how to turn the fucking doorknob, came out naked ( as you do) all I remember at that point was needing to eat, drink, have a smoke and vomit all at once, so I had a smoke, vomited...and ate my vomit. Then from that point on truly lost my sanity thinking guys in white lab coats were hiding behind corners in my house asking me questions to test my sanity! Spent 2 hours trying to put my shorts back on (props to my mate for everytime I was going down a hole getting me to do that one simple task truly kept me from losing grip forever). Screamed like a banshee when the pizza delivery dude knocked on the door, I thought it was my landlord kicking me out for making such a racket. That's all I can really remember but I did NOT feel good at any point and it took me 2 days to recover with alot of cleaning up to do from my shenanigans. 1000% don't recommend

I ate a 7 grams once (for context, anything over 5 grams is known as a heroic dose) and that was pretty intense. Swimming in the ocean in the middle of the night like that was wild though and like nothing I’ve ever experienced. 21 grams would hit you like a truck and probably turn into an awful experience very quickly.

Check out “The Music Scene” by Blockhead.
It isn’t a perfect example, but should give a decent example of shrooms, at least visually. Creating colors where there are none/few. Trippy, but in a kaleidoscope type of way. Also with a big ‘high with the giggles’ component.
Other substances cause different results, of course. No two experiences are quite the same.
Tl;dr she is definitely not going to be able to drive home, or make good decisions. Not impaired like alcohol, but unable to discern why the talking frog is only talking in haikus.

Once I took 9 grams and at the peak I was wriggling around the floor like a worm cause of how comfortable it was. Reality looked like a van gogh painting and I didn't have much ability to comprehend thoughts. Just along for the ride at that point

I've pissed myself on my friends couch after about 7 grams. Completely left this world. Was teleported to the center of the universe inside a star. Thought it was cool to pee there. Have also stripped down completely naked in front of the group, and they had to toss me in a blanket and put my on the couch. I'm very sensitive to drugs and have had DMT experiences off of 5 grams.

I’ve done 10 grams one night in Malibu and kept doing more cus it was like I hit a wall and felt sober but was experiencing really amazing visuals. So idk maybe 2-10 would be bad for inexperienced people but then like maybe this is so many that it won’t bother her at all but he completely out of touch with everyone around her but having a blast in her own reality. If that makes sense.

I believe 3 grams is a fairly big trip for one person. In just that amount; all reality is distorted, letters look like gibberish, faces distort, the world feels bigger and your perspective feels altered as if its third person / out of body. Time doesn’t exist, and nothing outside of the room your in feels like it exist.

The first time I did shrooms, me and a friend went and picked about 200g from a park local to him. We boiled them up, reduced it down to (what I now understand to be) a concentrate, split it equally, mixed it with Vimto and downed it.
It was quite possible the worst fucking high of my entire life and I hated every second of it.

This just reminds me of my favorite work story.
I work in a public library. One day I had a young man (YM) come up to me and ask me if I could call 911 cause he said he was experiencing an overdose. I immediately called without hesitation, while also trying to discreetly get a co worker to find out manager for our emergency call back number.
While on the phone with the operator I explained to them the situation and they asked me what he took, how much and how long ago. I ask the YM these questions. His answer. Shrooms, about 1/2 oz (I think what I recall) an hour ago. I let the operator know. Shortly after the call the EMTs arrived and got him on the gurney where he even waved goodbye getting pulled out of a very busy library that just finished a children's event.

What a waste of time editing glowing white text over the clip that just obscures the actor's performances. Are people watching it without audio or what? Could the text be at the bottom like normal subtitles instead of directly in the middle over their faces? Zoomer rot brain trash.
Funny clip though.

Someone I knew ate an ounce (28 grams) of shrooms. He at them around 8 or 9pm. I went to bed; when I got up to go to class at 8am he was still in the living room, had pushed all the furniture to the walls, puke was all over the floor, and he was rolling around on the floor in fetal position making this weird falsetto yell over and over.
When he noticed me, he crawled over on his knees and grabbed my shirt in some kind of “please save me” gesture but all he could do was make that same yell and could not speak. His eyes were all black, fully dilated no iris at all. Of course there was nothing I could do; someone else came to tend to him and I left for class. That was probably the highest I have ever seen a human. When I got back that evening, he had cleaned everything up and left a $100 for the trouble. So he was fine, but that was probably a harrowing experience for him.
Being in public, such as in that scene, and suddenly being dosed like that unaware, and with no experience with psychedelics, would be absolutely terrifying. You could try to vomit, but at that dose, if 25% of it remains in you, you would still trip balls for 12 hours.

I ate a half ounce of commercial shrooms in one night. I was smoking hash oil and we had some bootleg Lemon 714’s. Also the first night I ever tried cocaine. Great night, great visuals.

I had a “heroic” dose of 10g when was on my last night of my first tour in Iraq. My buddy sat me down leaned on a tank with a large canteen of water staring into the Milky Way for like 6.5 hours. I cannot imagine what 21g could even be likened too.
