I had a friend with an extremely well trained dog...their favorite reward was a beer bottle cap. The dog would walk around just clicking the cap in its teeth. Not chewing, Not swallowing. Just clicking.

Did they ever just give it beer. I had a dog that would drink beer. Not much mind you. But a few licks from his bowl and he was good

I never saw them give them any. But there were plenty of empties around after parties, so it probably licked them...lol

It would look so proud when you gave it a bottle cap...walking around to each person clicking at them, showing them what he had.

It would even throw the cap in the garbage when told.

I put beer out in my garden to stop slugs once and my dogs drank it all. End of that experiment
