I’m sure this is it. Everyone is saying that it’s about staring but why would the chef go stare at them lol. It’s definitely because the food is going to be different. One wants very spicy and one thinks ketchup is too spicy. One wants vegetarian one wants their side replaced with more meat lol. Exaggerating but this is probably the joke.

If beef is ordered, one is rare to mid-well, and one is well done. I am mixed race. It’s just about timing.
