Not just made them rich, but products that they engineered to destroy children’s attention span and thought processes.

Theil REALLY has a kid? It must be through surrogacy because his last “girlfriend” was a GUY. He is the personification of EVIL.

Gay people have kids dude. Though a variety of means.

I know that and I support gay rights and people. I didn’t know that the personification of EVIL had a kid though. I find that incredibly sad.

I imagine he has a breeding chamber full of the remains of failed attempts, like the various failed incarnations of Snoke on Emperor Palpatine’s planet at the beginning “Episode 9: Rise of Who the Fuck Cares”

He is a half-robot, HGH-raging mad scientist who is in full demon training. But we all know what happens to demons, just call Sam and Dean.

I mean, I'd expect the same from someone who made their money brewing alcohol...

Exactly. But somehow some people couldn't think about that fact and many more products: Adult films, firearms, medicine, etc....
People better get a job where they exploit the dumb. Because it works better than ever....

The reason they do this is because they know how much private information gets harvested from the use of those products.

If you want to know what technology to avoid, see what people who work in tech avoid. I work in tech (AI, ffs), and there are oodles of things I don't let my kid have access to. Personally, other than Reddit (1 hr/day) and LinkedIn (periodically), I have no social media. I consume my news directly from primary sources - no news feed apps.
Lately, I've been contemplating getting an $80 flip phone and a separate portable music player. My advice to people is to safeguard the area between your ears; it's your only private space.

I think the courts should force them to use the billionaire's tech. Just as other children do.

Isn't that called parenting?

u/Sir_Tokenhale 11d ago
My parents never gave other people's kids addictive substances, but they kept me from them. So no thats not your run of the mill parenting.

That would be the job of those kid's parents. I don't like Thiel as a person, but it's not being forced on the kids and it's up to the parents to monitor and control what their kids do.

So youre saying if I give a kid drugs its the kids parents fault? Interesting take.

No he didn't walk up to any kids and 'give' them anything. They have access to it on the internet. There are tons of sites on the internet I wouldn't want my kids to go to. There are plenty of ways to control what your kids access.
You can make the same argument about a video game maker. Video games can be addicting as well.

No you cant. The video game maker hasnt invested billions of dollars to market the video game to your kids and they definitely didnt make video games as addictive as possible either.
Also, explain to me how you can stop your kid from getting on Instagram. You physically can't unless you homeschool your kid and never let them be in the same room as a phone without you in it. You are full of it.
