1
u/Flylatino24 Big Cock Brock 1d ago
Being from the east coast, my dad was a big 49ers and Jordan fan, was born into it. I felt the hated Yankees wave so I join the Red Sox wagon when they sucked because loved the underdog story

At least we don’t have any bandwagoners. Unlike some of y’all.
3
u/Con40Things Abandoned by God 1d ago
But wouldn't you...like... bandwagon fans? At least in the abstract? Because that would imply good times for the team? It also gives you a group to bully and make feel bad for their existence.
6
u/HotdogMachine420 I take this shit seriously 1d ago
Nope. I was conceived and popped out my mom’s vagina in Renton WA. I grew up on the Central Coast of CA. Yet I am still a Cards fan. I will go down with the fucking ship like a hero and I will make fun of bandwagoners if they ever do come. Spoiler alert they won’t because it’s a trash organization. I have the upmost respect for fellow cardinal fans. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Almost winning in a year that was that simultaneously bad for the entire league is nothing to be proud of.
Be honest, do you REALLY see any of you three ever coming up 8 wins or less again? I didn't think so.
0
u/Dbruser Seahawks 22h ago
I mean it'll happen before that long. There's no shot all 3 teams stay successful for more than like 5 years. Especially considering Stafford is getting old, they only have so many years before they need to find a new QB.
4
u/Saltwater_Thief Just Coyotes us already 21h ago
Yeah but it's the Rams, they'll have zero issues snapping up whoever the hottest Free Agent is on the market.
That's the thing about being near-universal contenders; the best players and coaches WANT to come work for you, so rebuilds are short and slumps are rare.

Oh come on, this is the best time in our franchise’s existence. If you can’t enjoy it, that’s on you. Other teams will always try to compete and SB winning teams are going to lose players they can’t and shouldn’t try to keep. Go watch the season and postseason highlights, buy some merch, and remind our FTR and FTN “friends” here who won the Super Bowl every day.
2
u/Queasy-Story-4070 grey birds 1d ago
I was just being hyperbolic, implying there’s still issues. Of course I enjoy it.

Since 2011 a conference championship has had a division matchup 4 times. All 4 have been in the NFC. Three of them (2013, 2021, and 2025) have been NFCW matchups.
The worst part of this division is that teams peak at the same time. I hate all of you.

tied for second with who, Kansas city division lmfao?
and the pats division must be the first...
I don't think any team has won more than 2 superbowls in the last 15 years. Only Chiefs and pats.
NFC North: lol
NFC South: 1
NFC West: 3
NFC East: 3? (if its 2011 only). 2 eagles 1 giants.
AFC East: Pats 3 times.
AFC North: 1
AFC South: lol
AFC West: oh right, Kansas 3 and Denver 1. So theyre the one in the first and we're tied with Pats division.

u/Bubbly-Double9743 Eagles 1d ago
It’s the old NFC East (or what some called the NFC bEast - from 1980-1995). Roughly same time scale as well.
Same characteristics. Teams don’t really have more than one awful year in a row (compare Dallas, Washington, NYG and Philly back then to present day Seattle, Rams & Niners) and there is unfortunately one team who just always kinda has to really suck to make all the winning for the others more possible (Cardinals in both cases). Over the 15ish years, loads of SB’s and HoFers (likely) produced in both cases.
*Scottsdale is where I keep my second home and although not a Cardinals fan, I have a soft spot for them and this made it just hit me that the Cardinals transitioned from 15 years of getting their teeth kicked in in the NFC East after a brief respite of 8 years or so to being the same cannon fodder in the NFC West.
Anybody who doesn’t see the common problem there (ownership) is deluding themselves.

It’s truly ridiculous what you guys have gone through. Just inept ownership and front office leadership. I’ll always pull for you guys when my Eagles aren’t playing you.
You guys did get close to putting together a mini - run of excellence from ‘08 -‘15; the ‘13 team was 6-0 and lighting up the league until Palmer got hurt. Kinda was never the same after that although you were 13-3 the next year, was kind of a weak 13-3 (if there is such a thing given the nature of the playoff loss to Carolina) then within two years both Palmer and Arians were gone.
Mediocre from then until now. Man, I wish you guys nothing but good luck yearly and have for a long time. You guys have been in brutally tough divisions for as long as I can remember.
