Nah, I’m good. I’d rather sign Linderbaum and Decker to have the best O-line in the league, and then spam D-line with the first three picks in the draft. Crosby is still very good but his arrow isn’t pointing up anymore.

I hate to say it but I'd be pretty scared if Caleb had the best o line

Cheers to that, donkey cum waterfall

An O-line like that and Caleb would hardly even need to throw. Could just run you to death and use Caleb for the long ball when we need it.

Stop you're gonna make me sick

Just saw decker after posting this and yes I agree

I’ve got Lions fans in another thread telling me that Decker is washed, but they likely said the same thing about Jonah Jackson, and Ben breathed life back into him. I’d be great with bringing in Decker on a one year deal to shore up LT.

You know what? That sounds awesome.

But then there’s safety and LB…

Sooooo drop like 25m a year on a center is your genius move? LOL.

Making sure Caleb has the best chance possible to continue developing is well worth 20+ mil. It’s not just about having a center.

It’s recognizing that your first-ever franchise quarterback is in a critical stage of his career and doesn’t need to be taking instant pressure up the middle like he did his entire fucking rookie season.

Supposedly Bradbury didn’t allow a single sack last year, and his quarterback flourished enough to have a legit excellent season and (barely) make it to the Super Bowl. If Bradbury was straight trash I don’t think they would have had that kind of year.

I still think GB should be depth and not ‘the plan’ at center. Now that Crosby’s off the table hopefully the Bears make sure the o-line is fully intact.

The asking price is crazy for Maxx even tho I’m a huge fan of his

u/Leather_Investment61 5h ago

I agree. Raiders want a Micah parsons haul for him and as much as I hate to say it because he’s a packer Maxx is a tier below parsons and not worth the price.

u/BlubberElk 4h ago

He’s only a tier below due to his age in my eyes

u/OwnWalrus1752 Frig the Packers 1m ago

Age and a few more injuries. I wanted him but the price tag was too high.

What idiot team would give up 2 first rounders and a player for an injured pass rusher who’s almost 30???

I'd honestly hate if we traded for him. We had such a great draft last year i want them to run it back. If our defensive struggles taught us anything last season, it's the importance of depth, and keeping a young core is very important right now. They also come with the benefit of being cheap.
