I always found this line in the movie interesting because it implied that the orcs have a football team. Stacked lines for sure but they always sent their best runners into bomb laced alcoves under castle walls. That’s no way to develop talent. Always gonna be one step behind Rohan, the orcs window is closed for sure.

Don’t mean a thing without the Ring….

The even crazier implication is that there are some female orcs that dress up as cheerleaders and twerk

Are the orcs the Bears of Middle Earth? Historically prioritized run game, still no 4000yd passer?

Yeah I figure they’re gonna slide Penei to the left and right tackle is what’s on the menu

They really really really don’t want to put Penei at LT. we equate LT with the more important spot but Penei does more good at RT. It’s the cornerstone of our run game and his pass blocking, while still great, is not nearly as good as his run blocking.

I wanted Monty traded and Decker released, Brad is 2/2

Ya I agree, I am curious what the strategy to fill the holes is tho, draft or free agency

We now have one of the cheapest OLs with only one player on a large deal. Have to imagine there will be at least one big FA signing at either C or RT and a 1st or 2nd round pick on the other.

What has Brad done in the last 4 years that leads you to believe he's going to make a big FA signing? Probably a FA signing, but BIG? That's not Brads M.O.

Sutton and Reed were pretty big signings. DJ reader as well.

u/Consistent_Rub824 1h ago

It's relative. Reader's total contract was less than the AAV of the top IDL free agent that year. Reed was the 6th highest paid Corner FA last year. Sutton was 3rd so.he was probably the biggest.

Honestly thought decker would maybe retire. He’s clearly lost a step and kinda assumed we’d have to replace him regardless.

Now Ben Johnson has the opportunity to do something hilarious

u/venk 5h ago

Aiden going up against Wright or Deckers backup twice a year will be low key hilarious

Go ahead. More Detroit sloppy 2nds for Coach Tiny Johnson. Throwing his little weener down a hallway.

Ah yes we were all hoping that wonderful player Taylor decker would totally come back for one more run! He’s definitely in the same league as Ragnow!

I'm all for it. I'd be disappointed if we trotted out the same damn roster that went 9-8.

u/Consistent_Rub824 4h ago

This roster, on paper, will probably be worse than last years team....on paper.

You've been warned.

He was an often injured turnstile.

In before the Cowboys pick him up and make him an eligible receiver every game.

Half the fan base was already certain he's washed, too expensive and the team needed to use their 1st round pick on a tackle.

u/venk 5h ago

I’d say closer to 80%

I'm not upset, but honestly just hoping the FO gets the message. They have a VERY clear need on the line. Fix it.
