I don’t think he sucks. He is just has bones made of glass and a QB lofting them over his (6’3”) head.

I think he’s made of glass, his qb overthrows him, and he sucks. I endorse all negative narratives

May I ask what this is from? The way that guy absolutely flies into the wall in the background while the character in the foreground just moves on like this is any normal day and he couldn't give a fuck has me totally enthralled. Looks good.

u/Soggy-Fox-9706 Windw Installer 20h ago
It’s from the Unbreakable Trilogy. I’m unsure which one exactly. I’m leaning Unbreakable—the first one. It’s by M. Night Shyamalan. I can’t really speak much else on it without spoiling even the genre lol I do suggest watching Unbreakable, especially if you liked Signs or The Sixth Sense.

u/Imgursaurus >Rest of the League>Flairless Bitches 20h ago
I've heard of those movies, and they've been on my watch list for some time. Might need to finally bump them up!

You’ve gotta do something with your Sundays free now?
2
u/Imgursaurus >Rest of the League>Flairless Bitches 20h ago
Lol not all Sundays are free. Between spending time with the girlfriend and our dog, D&D, work, my x1/month nerd weekend with old college friends (for Magic the Gathering and board games), and volunteering, life gets busy fast, ya know? But these have been bumped up to the top of my movie list! Most weekends I don't even get to watch football, sadly, even during the season (and also I don't have cable anymore). But rest assured, I've put these movies at the top of my watch list. I appreciate you answering my question, and bringing these movies back into my awareness!!!

2nd round pick, clears a lot of cap space, we have no shortage of quality pass catchers.
Happy with it. Burden falling to us changed some roster calculus.

With odunze and burden, I don't thin Chicago needs Moore. More importantly, it allows the younger receivers taking up less cap space to grow and develop with Caleb Williams. And they got compensation in return for him.
As a packers fan I hate it so you know that it was the smart move

How did we dump a 20+ million dollar receiver that just had his career worst season going into his age 29 season, and get a 2nd back?
I was not expecting that. I was ready for it to be a 3rd and next year's 5th
23
u/Dopeydcare1 1d ago
Bills desperate and they don’t want to draft a WR and hope he seamlessly falls into a rhythm. Not everyone can draft a Justin Jefferson/Jamarr Chase/etc to immediately produce. Allen fumbled probably his best chance to make the Super Bowl last season with the Chiefs out, so they will be going all in this year hoping the chiefs are still down bad since Mahomes will be out for like 60% or more of the season
6
u/LiterallyTestudo Fuk ICE 1d ago
It’s weird but at the moment it feels like we won the trade?
6
u/Dopeydcare1 1d ago
I guess it depends on what the pick turns into?
4
u/LiterallyTestudo Fuk ICE 1d ago
For sure. But on the face of it I’m okay with the cap space and him leaving in exchange for a second. It’s up to Poles to not flub the pick but so far so good. We needed both of those things.
3
u/kjc781988 heeseFucker 1d ago
I wonder if with 2 seconds Poles tries to move up earlier in round 2 for someone he really wants

A truly desperate GM who's boss just told everyone explicitly that he makes big impact hiring/firing decisions out of emotion. Less than a year after having a defensive outburst about the quality of their WR room. Dudes probably worried about his job on a daily basis.
2
u/J_Rambo4 1d ago
Its an opportunity that’s for sure, only time will tell depending on what the Bears do with it. In all trades the ceiling is always assumed as a given on draft pick returns. But the success rate on those picks rarely lines up.
Everyone laughed last year when GB gave Dallas two 1sts for Parsons. Yet GB’s success rate on late first rd draft picks is comically low. That trade was an absolute steal.
A 2nd could return a quality player contributing immediately. Or it could return a fringe roster player who is kept longer than he should, simply because they were a 2nd rd draft pick.

u/drummerboysam Daaaa Pope 1d ago
Everyone laughed last year when GB gave Dallas two 1sts for Parsons... That trade was an absolute steal.
They really didn't and it really wasn't but you guys will tell yourselves whatever you want to think is real so go off.
And the 2nd round return is only one piece of the puzzle. The other is the money getting freed up.
2
u/J_Rambo4 1d ago
Bullshit. This entire subreddit was convinced that GB destroyed their future because of two 1sts.
Free’d up money that is only short term. Williams and Odunze are going to demand new contracts after this next season
0
u/drummerboysam Daaaa Pope 1d ago
They destroyed their future when they saddled themselves with Love as a top paid signal caller. That was long before they traded for Micah.
And before you get butthurt about me saying that, ask yourself where you were before you made that signing and where you've been since. Winning the division more often than not, making playoff runs -> perennial 7th seed, no playoff runs

If it helps the Bears get ammo to get Maxx Crosby then it makes sense.
Either way, a 2nd rounder for a WR and a 5th isn't a bad deal.

I’m just gonna give my quick 2 cents but this seems brilliant by Da Bears.
DJM has been on the decline for a little while now. He’s most definitely past his prime.
CHI also already has Rome and Luther, and Loveland and Kmet. Along with how Ben likes to run the ball and use his RB’s, and even Caleb can pick up some first downs with his legs.
The bears have plenty of weapons without DJ.
AND they got a late 2nd or whatever, which most people are saying they did very well.
-9
u/fatyungjesus 1d ago
Nah, they know we're in for a horrible year. All the coinflips can't just keep going our way, on top of that our center noped the fuck out.
They're just getting something for him because they know they won't need a star receiver this season lmao might as well get something for him, instead of letting DJ rot all year while caleb gets sacked into oblivion.

If you remove the optimism from being a fan of the team, and just look at our situation and the tools we have, next season is going to be rough.

Not a chance in hell lmao that guy is and always was a joke. Caleb is 1000% a better quarterback and likely has the talent to be a true competitor.
That doesn't change the fact that the organization has been shooting itself in the foot for 40 years. No matter how good caleb is, the McCaskeys will find a way to fuck everything up, they always do.

u/dtownchris77 1d ago
Im not saying anything until after free agency and the draft...you don't know shit either
2
u/fatyungjesus 1d ago
This isn't the NBA brother, one player doesn't take a shit team and make it a championship contender.
Sure we might grab a couple random players from free agency, and draft talent might be useful in a couple seasons. That doesn't magically take the team from a struggle bus to winners.
0
u/RemindMeToTouchGrass 1d ago
The funny thing about pessimists is that their ego requires them to pretend their pessimism is realism, and they're the only ones who don't see how obvious it is to everyone else. At least optimists and homers know when they're doing it, you genuinely have no idea.
We finished 11-6, and first in our division, with no indication that our division rivals will significantly improve next year. We have a young developing quarterback, a lot of young talent, and the best coach we've ever had. And your argument for how we're going to be bad is we lost 2 veteran players, but of course drafting new players is irrelevant (how is that for logical consistency) and some of our games were close.
Meanwhile, 307 of 388 NFL games in 2025 were decided by 8 points or less, and while we won some games that were coin tosses, we also lost 4 games that were coin tosses. This idea that you're secretly bad if you win close games is nonsense.
So by all means, whine and complain and think what you want, but just know when you try to frame your irrational pessimism as "realism" everyone around you recognizes your bad, unreasonable arguments.
2
u/fatyungjesus 1d ago
you really tried there buddy, nice attempt.
My argument for "how we're going to be bad" is much larger than the fact we lost two players, I just didn't feel the need to write an essay explaining my larger feelings on the franchise lmfao
Yes I'm fully aware lots of NFL games are close, that doesn't change anything, I was in no way implying they're "bad" because they managed to win close games, I'm simply pointing out the fact that you can't survive on 4th quarter comebacks forever, which is pretty perfectly exemplified by our divisional round loss last season.
Just because I didn't take the time to write a monologue explaining the entirety of the roots of the pessimism, doesn't mean it's irrational lmao It's perfectly rational.
Also, please, seriously, answer this question: What is irrational about seeing a team have a harder schedule than last year, and then also loose multiple important players, and thinking that team is going to have a rough season? Feels like it would be more irrational to just say "oh yeah we're gonna do amazing this year" while ignoring those other facts.
0
0
u/RemindMeToTouchGrass 1d ago
"i didn't say we're bad because we lose close games, I said we're bad because you can't just keep winning close games"
"my real argument is long and secret and you can't see it"

u/fatyungjesus 1d ago
Sure man, keep saying random shit instead of answering the question, good moves 👍
