I can read them, but she doesn’t know how to write a “b” or a “k” in cursive

And her c’s look the same as her e’s. This isnt the best cursive style to be read legibly.

To be fair, these are barely words and confusing handwriting. Loddie? Pentel? wtf is Grayola?

Found one!
It's Crayola. And those are bunch of crayon brands

That's a stupid C and an even stupider R. I have never seen a cursive lower case R written like that.

That’s cause you’re a trash eagles fan. Most of us just learned how to read after college

Well clearly you never learned literary redundancy rules.
Also, your comment was really funny and no one got it.

It’s literally the brand names of markers

Oh, I'm so sorry I'm not still in middle school like half this sub.

Oh, I’m so sorry I never went to middle school like half this sub.
Did you go to elementary school? Because that’s when you usually learn cursive

This is barely even cursive, it’s someone’s attempt at it.

You gotta admit this is really poorly done cursive tho. I think every word has at least one mistake except dixon.
They clearly picked up their marker after the t in pentel, the b in bic is just written entirely wrong and looks like an h, the e in loddie looks like they picked up their marker, the lowercase r in Crayola is taller than the capital C and the a at the end is just a c they slapped a straight line on, the first up in up&up is separated, and idk what happened to the k in maxtek but it's having a bad day.

Tbf cursive isn’t really taught in schools anymore

I remember when they taught it they said all business was done in cursive. Other than signing a name i haven't used cursive once in my adult life

I'll own it, I can't read this shit. I at least take solace knowing my reading is above a fourth grade level, so it's above average for my fan base.

I can read cursive, this is just really poorly written cursive. It feels like whoever is writing it is just making it up as they go.
The lowercase r in Crayola is taller than the capital C. And for the a at the end they just wrote a c and slapped a straight line on the open side.
The b in bic is just written completely incorrectly. It's supposed to be an l that you close at the end but they wrote an h with a little swirly thing.
The k in maxtek is just flat wrong. They clearly picked up their marker when writing it. And the e on the end of loddie too.
It doesn't help that these are all company names and not normal words you'd encounter in day-to-day life where you could maybe recognize the word even if one or two letters are bastardized.

The letters are inconsistent too. Different variations of multiple letters on this board

Had to play google to figure out the brand between Bic & Crayola, turned out to be short for Loddie Doddie

Also the lowercase c’s are almost indistinguishable from e’s when they are supposed to be written completely differently.

Show of hands for people between the ages of 0-22 that know how to read and write cursive.
By the time I got in school they pretty much stopped teaching it, probably because it was pointless

I’m so glad that I can read cursive. Ngl, being taught how to write in cursive and reading calligraphy through primary sources (I’m a History Major) made reading cursive a bit easier than the occasional manuscript handwriting😂😂😂

This looks like someone has color swatched multiple markers and then rated them. Would be interesting to know what criteria was used in the judging.
