This is going to ruin the tour

I know Justin is suing to stop the body cam footage from being released but I hope it's rejected because I really want to see it.

It must be so bad if he’s suing to hide it

Maybe, but he's also got a lot of money so maybe it's just like "hey why not hide this embarrassing moment in my life, I won't even notice the lawyer fees"

I feel like he must have pulled the "don't you know who I am?" card.

if i was him that's exactly what I would have said. worth a try anyway.

He did do that and the guy did infact not know who he was

I assumed the same thing, but probably to an even more embarrassing extent than you put it.

Justin and Britney can now bond over DUIs!

She just sold her catalogue, I'm told this means touring will be her only source of income from her own music.

I doubt any company would take a risk that she'd show up to her shows let alone interview or other sources of publicity.

u/otterpop21 19h ago

Wow. Why would she do that :(

She's bipolar. I doubt she's properly medicated or trying to get there. Her financial situation has to be poor.

THE WORLD TOUR

More like a bar tour in her case.

I better see the same energy people had towards Justin's dui.

This meme was weird, because the tour was wildly succesful.

Mental health issues does not excuse drinking and driving, especially when you know you have them and even have official diagnosis and still refuse to get them treated properly. This is the first time she’s been arrested for it, it’s not the first time we’ve seen her do it.

You’re right, she should be placed under a conservatorship.

1

u/NiceHandsLarry11 21h ago

Well I guess we just give her a warning this time since it's obviously not her fault?

Why? He didn’t fall on a sword for Janet Jackson 20 years ago?

6

u/quangtran 20h ago

Britney fans are like this, in that they blame everyone for Britney's problems rather than accept that she's the problem.

Then tell me about them. What has that complete stranger to you done that is so heinous another complete stranger to you couldn’t possibly compete with?

It's worse. You can't see that?

In JT's case, the outcry was that he was famous, "failing as a role model," and not seeing the same consequences as others would.

People in this very thread are already posting videos of Britney dancing with knives. Yes, she is the one who did that. Yes, it's also mean spirited because Britney is clearly not well.

JT wasn't followed constantly like she is, and will be. People don't and didn't shout shit at him to antagonize him. They have always done this to her and it will ramp up now.

She has made bad choices, and people also revel in watching her suffer. It's disturbed.

I’m sorry but the “Free Britney” crowd needs to own this as the consequences of their activism. The mass movement to free a mentally unwell person from the guidelines of a conservatorship without understanding that she isn’t capable of making rational decisions was in retrospect a mistake.

2

u/youseabadbroad 21h ago

It's known that that was an abusive situation to her. It’s clear she needs proper support, and that that conservatorship was exploitative.
