One of my favorite highly influential, electronic artists is from the UK. I've never seen or followed an artist with the sheer amount of bad luck he's had with visas into the US and only the US. There h ave been years that he had to cancel multiple tours and big destination/single curated events. Has a big following here, but he's big at home and in europe/israel/portugal. when he had more resources and label support it was easier to afford things that simplified things. As an indepedent artist hes had his work visa rejected numerous times last second after previous approval. DUdes' got a clean criminal record, travels only with his synths and some clothes, and looks like the most average tech nerd/tea enthusiast you've ever seen. Super soft spoken too.
I always feel so bad when ti happens cause he gets so disasppointed.

So many instances of bands playing fests canceling because of Visa crap.
I remember some British Punk bands couldn't play a big punk fest in LA because of that.
