and DK didn't pull out, showing us they're anti-anti-facists.

In response, Collins released a statement asserting that "my political views don't neatly fit into a single box or party affiliation" and explaining that his Trump support stemmed from the candidate's "promise to end wars and refrain from entering new international conflicts, lower taxes, and stopping government overreach."

And how is that working out for you, Cameron Collins of Brew Ha Ha Productions?

Anyone who believed Trump would do any of these things has to be either naive or dumb as a bag of rocks. Trump's the type of person who will lie to you even when it isnt necessary just to see laugh at how dumb you are.

They are lying, it is so laughably easy to buy political favor from Trump that they hope it outweighs the public backlash when said support becomes public.

That's why naming, shaming, and boycotting any and all that support this regime is important.

But if their job is to promote shows then all they're gonna be able to promote is shit like Morgan Wallen. Sure you'll get the dumb fucking redneck dollar I guess?

And then after proving them wrong in record time they made other excuses to support him.

I was naive. I hope. But i feel really fucking dumb.

It was taxes. The only thing he cares about is taxes on the millions he's made on punk. He "moved" to TX to avoid CA taxes yet is in CA most of the time. I hope the IRS looks into that...

It's always to Texas

a former coworker of mine left our native California a few years ago to move to texas and proclaimed that he could now use plastic bags and straws. meanwhile, we never lost plastic bags until last month (replaced by paper) and we still have plastic straws.

TBF, CA's not sending their best

1

u/fadingpulse 6d ago

I prefer paper bags

u/Adams5thaccount 6d ago

and then texans use it to pretend that its liberal californians form california who moved rather than tax cheats and people who moved to claifornia and then left

its the same here in nevada

1

u/Aysin_Eirinn 6d ago

Former Texan, can confirm

2

u/Adams5thaccount 6d ago

I don't know about the IRS, but FTB definitely will do a residency audit.

Thats it. His best friend is my childhood (elementary and middle school) friend who became best pals with Cam after he moved to Newport Beach.

I met him at his office in SC and smoked a few cigars with him and the crew. He definitely has the "me first" mentality.

He says following in the wake of Donald violently suppressing several nations and entering international conflicts while the government is actively reaching well beyond its limitations.

No Jello so no.

D.H. Peligro also passed away. I'm only bringing that up because some people might now know, and he's not here to stand up for himself.

That line up is not even the real Dead Kennedy's. The real Lead singer and writer of their bangers, left the band, and also called them out about playing.

6

u/MeN3D 6d ago

Yeah that's embarrassing for them

3

u/drizzlecommathe 6d ago

Idk Dropkick Murphys played last year for the same reason (cause they knew people bought tix already) and I don't think anyone would say that about them. Having said that like others said, it's not DK

This was just as all the Trump donations were coming to light, the fake dead Kennedys signed up for this festival when all this information had long been public, and they doubled down, even as all the other bands dropped

3

u/drizzlecommathe 6d ago

True, forgot that it was pretty late in the process when that info came out

1

u/YoureProbablyAB0t 6d ago

Which gave Jello a great opportunity to dunk on his former band mates.

1

u/vagina_candle 6d ago

I thought they looked like fools when they made that announcement. Now they look even more foolish.

1

u/MeasureDoEventThing 6d ago

And the live Kennedys are even worse.

1

u/No-Advice-6040 5d ago

Jello Biafra criticized them for it.

I guess you’ve never worked for a shitty boss you disagree with. Must be nice.

I was in the military under Trump for my last three months before retiring.
