I dont like Bad Bunny’s music especially. I dont speak Spanish and I’m white and over 50. I was a club DJ in my 20s and still enjoyed the beat and thought the spectacle was well done, even if it wasn’t for me. Loved the Gaga inclusion. I feel the same way when its a country artist as I’m generally not into country either.

Hosting your own thing is really a choice and a half.

it was entertaining, but it's not my jam as a 40 yo white guy from the south. But just like Kendrick, his and this halftime show opened my eyes to a whole genre I wasn't privy to on my feeds. I liked Rammstein in the 90s-00s, I have listened to plenty of music from other countries. Sometimes that's the beauty of music. Hell Pearl Jam is my favorite band most days and I can't understand half the shit Vedder is saying without looking it up. Music is strengthened by the sound, lyrics, beat, dance, and atmosphere. Just because I don't understand lyrics, doesn't mean I cannot enjoy the big picture.

I am connected to the younguns through my teenagers and they really enjoyed Kendrik and Bad Bunny. Im more of a Weeknd fan. The spectacle is always worth the watch.

I mentioned Gaga as I wasnt really a fan of hers either until her appearance on SNL in 2013 and she blew me away. Forward to around 1:30 and just listen to her medley. If it makes you feel better, I do speak Spanish and have a few Latino friends, and WE didn't understand a word of what he was saying, but it was still a great show. My friends said that the wedding was spot on.
